We stayed there for two nights before moving on to Livingstone. The hotel is in the waterfront area, one of the few areas of Cape Town where you can wander around after dark and not worry about security. The food in the hotel is very good and reasonably priced, but there are lots of other restaurants within a few minutes...

The setting of this hotel is magnificent. Easy access to the V&A Waterfront that offers great restaurants, bars and all kinds of very interesting and up-market shopping spots. Easy to go for a picturesque and safe run in the morning/evening towards Sea Point. The rooms are spacious and elegant and did not leave us wanting for anything. The service is...

This is one of the Luxury Hotels of the World and rightfully so. The staff was super attentive, everywhere, from the front desk, restaurant wait-staff, concierge, and everyone else around. They aim to please. The breakfast was great, in addition to the buffet, you can order directly from the staff and they'd happily oblige. One evening we ordered coffee, they...

the hotel is beautiful inside and beutifully located. Very nice rooms, good food, great views. The first impresiion is a little bit posh but the staff is very friendly and you feel good and natural. For me the only problem is the direct connection to the shopping mall, but that's a minor issue. I fully recommend it.

We were staying for the test match. As a result of the cricket and time of year, the place was full but this could hardly have been a surprise and so why was the wait for ANYTHING at breakfast, or even a sandwich and cup of tea in the afternoon so slow? ( nearly 45 mins wait for a sandwich...

Of the many hotels I have had to stay in, this is one of the few that stands out. Great reception at check-in, well appointed and spacious rooms. I am told every room has a view of the sea and indeed, what a spectacular view. You get spoilt for choice for breakfast. There are two breakfast venues. One serves oysters,...

Transferred over from Newlands after the cricket finished for 5 nights B&B, cost c.£790 in a luxury double room, the cheapest available. If its within your budget it is well worth it - I can't really imagine that you could ask for much more from a city break-style hotel, and whilst there will always be differing opinions/experiences, I find it...

Walking in the hotel is inviting and beautiful. The rooms are nice although the water temperature kept changing dramatically in the shower. One second freezing and the next burning your skin. We went to the pool to enjoy a day in the sun and it was so windy the umbrellas were flying everywhere. We felt very unsafe since the staff...

We are disappointed to read of your recent experience at our hotel property. We do assure you this is not the standard we pride ourselves on, and do hope you will visit us again. I have shared your comments with the operations team, who will address these areas with their team.
