Wonderful time away. Had a short weekend break to enjoy some quiet romantic time with my husband. Fantastic personalized service from arrival to departure. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. The selection of available Tea is extensive and interesting, served beautifully in clear glass pots, and is an experience in itself. The Mount Nelson stay was exceptional. Not only did they make COVID-19 protocols a breeze to manage, but nothing delayed or impacted their impeccable service and ability to go far and beyond! For a local, this experience will stay on in my memory as one of the best experiences in the world - far better than upmarket hotels in NYC, Switzerland, DC or in locations like Zanzibar!

Mount Nelson is what everyone dreams it to be. It is a beautiful hotel with history edged in it and you feel a privilege enjoying the comforts of the hotel. Service and rooms are impeccable. Breakfast is an event, the menu offers variety and if you don't count hours breakfast could last until lunch.

After several years we stayed again at the Mount Nelson. For us it is still the best hotel in town. Their is still a fantastic atmosphare around the hotel, beatiful garden, top service and outstanding breakfast. We could not find any shortfalls.
