Started our holiday in South Africa at Camps Bay , with 5 nights at the Bay Hotel. We had a premier sea view room, which was good and the views even better. Camps Bay is a busy and vibrant location, lots of nice bars and restaurants, the hotel is perfectly located on the front strip , with the stunning mountains...

At first sight the hotel looks lovely and like other reviews say, it's a great location. But, again, as other reviews say, it is WAY overpriced for what it is. The facade is nice but the inside is way, way, way to tired for the price. Surely they've made enough money now so that they can put the money back...

Stayed at this hotel with guests from overseas on business. We were instantly upgraded to the Cabanas at no charge. All our rooms were sea facing and you have a great sea view lying on your bed with curtains opened. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Safe and Secured parking facilities. The breakfast room overlooks the sea and if...

Stopped here for our first ever four nights in South Africa. Arrived just after 9am, the reception staff could not have been more helpful. Offered us facilities to freshen up and have breakfast. Left our stuff, safely locked away, and off we we went for the day. Advised to stay here rather than at the V & A, glad we...

We had a fabulous time at The Bay Hotel due mainly to two facts: our room opened directly onto the lovely pool deck and the hotel enjoys an unrivalled position in the centre of this atmospheric and fashionable resort. However, there can be no question that the hotel is exploiting its unchallenged position by failing entirely to meet the expectations...

Just returned after spending 10 nights at this fabulous place. The location is amazing, right opposite the beach with the mountain in the background and then beautiful bars and restaurants both left and right. We stayed in room 235 which was a sea view room, it was lovely and spacious and right by the pool. No balcony as such but...

The hotel was great, good spot, good room and nice pool area. We did book and pay in advance for a Honeymoon package but this could not be honoured and was a faf to arrange for a refund (which was made before we left the hotel) - I wouldn't recommend booking this room add on as the Hotel don't appear...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely hotel facing the beach. Visited the spa which was very good. Relaxed by the pool and had lovely food in the restaurant. Booked a sea view room which met all our expectations. Staff professional and we would definitely book here again.

This place needs a makeover if they want to charge the prices they currently do. Very average customer service and hotel rooms .... like a travel lodge really. Nothing luxury/boutique about the place. Location is the only thing that really stands out and the pool area is nice.
