Awesome! From the first sight of the Palace Hotel with its ornate entrance, pillars and carved animals it only gets better. Entering through enormous doors into the lobby which looks more like the Cisteen Chapel with its murals, paintings & ornate floors not to mention the Zebra skin seats!! Our room on the 3rd floor was fantastic with a balcony...

Wow, what an amazing place with so much to do. The staff were lovely and the rooms serviced twice a day with every attention to detail. During my stay I booked a few excursions such as a hot air balloon in Pilsenberg game reserve and a visit to a local big cat sanctuary where I got to walk 3 lion...

My partner and I spent a few days at the Palace of the Lost City from the 25 - 28 August. The rooms are comfortable but noticeably aging, with maintenance required to shower door and toilet roll holder Taps need to have build-up removed. On two nights there were old mattresses left in the passage outside our rooms. There was...

From start to finish this was a wonderful experience, the staff were all very attentive. Are room was to hi standard and although it was above the Tuskers bar we heard no noise. The balcony over looked the lake, the only downside was the extensive renovations that were going on the lake and in the grounds by the water park, but this did not...

Went on here on a work and pleasure trip. The hotel is billed as a five star but i would put it at a four at the most. Thats not to say it isn't nice, it is but could probably do with a bit of a tidy up, more so the bedrooms than the comunal rooms. The staff are suberb...

We stayed at the Palace for two nights following five nights of wonderful 5 star treatment in a safari lodge on the Madikwe game reserve. We didn't get off to a good start and had a succession of minor irritating things so from then on it was always going to look poor by comparison We checked in at 2.30pm There...

We loved our stay here. Great room, great views, exquisite and beautiful hotel, you feel like you are in an Indiana Jones movie. The Palms Restaurant was the best restaurant I have ever been too. Exquisitely decorated, classy and classic, great food selections. The morning brunch was amazing, so many items to choose from.

Let's face it...it's tacky as hell and doesn't pretend to be anything else...but it's more. In its showy gold trim and and oversized, well everything, it's oddly luxurious and well worth a visit. The hotels features are endless and exploring the grounds, attractions, bars and restaurants is a must. There literally is something here for everyone. Pool side drinks and...

The Palace of the Lost City is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous grounds. We only stayed one night because that is all a single moms budget allowed for. We saw the hotel in the movie Blended and I wanted to surprise my kids with a stay here, even if just for 1 night. The staff is super friendly and helpful...
