We visited Manyane over the long weekend. It's a great area with alright campsites, although there seems to be a mass invasion of paper thorn weeds just about everywhere you look. The campsite next to ours was edge-to-edge in them. I'm not sure why the management can't weed and spray the sites... The new ablution facilities are pretty good -...

We camped at Manyane resort in our caravan: I should like to suggest that your maintenance staff scrutinise the state of repair of the camping ablutions: Some doors to the toilet cubicles cannot close: the hinges are pulled out of the frame and / or the door has swollen so much from being wet that the door cannot close. Secondly:...

We have had a timeshare long weekend at Manyane for about 5 years. When we bought there the resort was in a good condition, but since then everything started going to pot slowly but surely. During our last visit in early February 2017 we were extremely shocked at the run-down state of the resort. It is clear that absolutely no...

The Men's ablution block at the Caravan sites, especially the showers, were dirty and full of mud. The showers were not regularly cleaned as visitors made use thereof. The roads in the Park is full of potholes.

Some of the staff do not treat tourists the same (based on race). Black tourists are ignored, given minimal information and service and the general reception is not as warm and inviting. Generally we are made to feel that our money is not worth it as much as that of other races.

Really enjoyed the stay, just felt a bit uneasy with the amblution cleanliness, etc. I cannot believe that women take so little pride in their hygiene. Not cleaning toilets, etc. There were cleaners once a day, but I do not feel this is enough

Price is extremely high for the level of accommodation. Maintenance needed, and general appearance left wanting. Leaking toilet, overflowing water pipe in front of unit. Fist night we had no pillowcases on our pillows! Coffee station was not refilled during the morning room service. If you go for breakfast, make sure you get there early - we arrived 30 minutes...

Chalets need to be upgraded for the amount of money that is spent to stay in them. Braai tongs are awful. Caravan park should never run out of Charcoal and fire lighters. This caused us to have to use the wet wood we could buy from the shop so we ended up having dinner after 9pm.

This is my third visit to the resort, my first being in 1999. The resort has changed little and as such appears dated and could do with some modernisation. The toilet blocks appear to have had some renovation and looks good. Overall the resort is functional and clean. Some of the waiting staff can be abrupt.

We stayed in the manayane camp tents, where you get a big tent m, with a fridge and braai area as well as clean beds with towels etc. just remember cutlery or you can put down a deposit of R300 at reception and rent cutlery including pan and braai tang. The restaurant in the centre of pilansberg was mind boglingly...
