The room was not comfortable, rats eat our food and there was a terrible smell at the kitchen. Enjoy outside the room only not inside.

Bathroom was in an appalling state, dirty walls, wroting skirting around the bath, no soap provided, uncomfortable old beds, old rugs that were slippery on the cement floors causing a risk of trippinf and falling down. The couches in the sitting room was old and uncomfortable as well. one could feel the planks in the base as the cushining was worn out.

A no cancellation booking was raised when I thought that I would still be able to change my mind, due to the advertisement showing you can cancel later. When arriving at the place the disappointment was high, pool was not running and a funny color, the poor manager had to take the brunt of everyone's gripes. No matching glasses, cutlery not sufficient had to ask for what we needed. No toasters no brooms these you could get by phoning and asking the manager.Owner didn't bother to show face and ask how we were enjoying it. The place could do with basic maintenance work that could put it back onto standard. Braai facilities we had to mix and match between the two units that we booked. Due to us wanting to be close to each other my friends were moved to another unit which was cheaper, but if they didn't bring it to the attention of the manager we wouldn't have received the refund. The file that is kept on top of the bread bin that we need to compare if all the items are there is so filthy I didn't even touch it. Oven rubber just about totally loose, only noticed once I already had a dish in the oven. I would not recommend this place at all and do have a high disappointment on the fact that I couldn't even cancelled if I wanted to due to all money's being deducted from my account prior to us arriving, and to be honest I now know why you wouldn't receive a refund even if you asked. When doing my next booking through booking.com if it doesn't show that I can pay only on arrival I will not use the sight at all.

A rather belated review! We loved our two night stay at Hazyview Cottages in June 2023. The cottages are situated down a bumpy dirt track off the main road. This means that there is no traffic noise at the cottages, which are surrounded by peaceful bush-land. We relaxed totally, except when we had to go to the supermarket, a short distance along the main road, which was a bustling, noisy place, though it had everything you could possibly want to buy. All the staff at the cottages were courteous and helpful. Even when making the booking, they were brilliant with my dithering – I had to change the dates of the stay a couple of times. Because it was so confusing, I decided to ring them and they were totally laid back and reassuring.] We arrived about 10am, but were allowed to move into our cottage immediately even though check-in was not until 2pm. We had a whole cottage comprising bedroom, bathroom and open plan lounge/kitchen/dining with a garden and patio with table and chairs. The cottage was well equipped and very interestingly designed, quite novel and very comfortable. Brilliant value for 37 Australian dollars per night. Thank you to Hazyview Cottages :-)

We were welcomeed by friendky staff and they helped us carry the luggage to the room.staff were helpfully and explained some roads to towns. We felt safe there and this is most important in these times. Tv ,kettle ,fridge,and water quality was very good. bathroom was very clean . price was a bargain so we cannot complain about anything. It was not luxurious but clean and functional. Will stay there again. Giel

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Hazeyview. I appreciated the fact that the staff checked in with me regarding the progress of my trip leading up to check in just to ensure that my arrival was a safe one. The treatment was a great one. I am definitely coming back again soon.

We were so impressed with best service and venue a family could ask for. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for the perfect holiday to stay here. We loved every minute being there and it was absolute value for money.

This was by far one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The staff, especially Richard was fantastic with my son, playing ball with him everyday, my son has now made a best friend, thank you. The ladies cleaning our room everyday was honest and really did a good job. The security is wonderful, the shower felt like a spa and the air-conditioning was a great plus in the room with the dstv. Thank you all for making our holiday so special.

We spent two nights at Hazyview Country Cottages. The stay was excellently arranged and we had no problems at all. The rooms are big and well equippted ( including the kitchen). The only improvement one may expect is a country road leading to the Cottages but they have just started to repair it.
