We really enjoyed staying at Nbana Lodge. The room was great, had everything we needed. The lodge itself has a big garden area which we ended up playing in every afternoon with our child. I would recommend going on B&B basis at least. Food in Wild Thyme was really good. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

It is such a joy to see our guests enjoy the gardens - especially families where parents can play with their children in an open, safe and unpolluted environment. Time together like this is precious. I will be sure to share you comments with Paul, the owner of the restaurant. Since the restaurant is open daily, except Sundays, from 07h00...

You are so right, Thumi - getting out of the city to recharge batteries is essential in our fast-paced life of today. We are delighted that we could provide you with such an experience. Surrounded by banana farms, unobstructed views to the east sets the tone for a peacefull day. Thank you for your review. Warm regards Magda

The room were clean and well kept during our stay. We had a stay included 3 pre-booked excursions namely a spa treatment, 3 outdoor activities and trip up to Blyde Cannon. I appreciated the booking to the cannon as the road was unfamiliar to us and the guide we went with was familiar to the area so all the good...

Thank you Claudia for your valuable feedback. You were our first guests that booked the package deal and it was great to share your enthusiasm for all you experienced. Originally this new product, that includes arranging all your activities, was designed for a weekend break away, but as you so rightly point out, there are so many possibilities for activities...

My brother, my dad and I travelled to Nabana lodge from Durban. We did in the trip in 1 day which meant us being in the road for +-10hours. The people at Nabana were friendly and helpful, they even messaged me to check how our drive was going. We informed them we were going to be arriving late and they...

The bathrooms need more maintenance attention, although clean, the strip covering the "gap" between the tiles and bath is aesthetically not nice (I am sure something else can be done to make it more appealing), the toilet itself smelling and the taps not functioning properly. Just a suggestion, a small fridge would be handy to store your beverages.

Thank you Gerard for your valuable comments. It was lovely to host your family and young friends here. Caulking of the bath is an ongoing challenge and future plans are to replace all baths with a walk-in shower to permanently overcome this, and add to our guest's comfort at the same time. It will also deal with the old style...
