This is a nice questhouse with a very nice couple as hosts. The rooms are nice but the bathroom is a bit old fashion. They do everything to make you feel at home. The garden is very nice with lovely plants and special old trees.

We stayed here for the last 3 nights of our South Africa trip. The gardens were amazing! The owners were great. The room was beautiful, as was the entire inside and outside of the guest house. Great Great place to stay!

What a delightful surprise Laughing Waters Guest House was to us. Set in peaceful beautiful gardens, our room was huge, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Our meals were very tasty and well presented. On our first morning we were given a breakfast box, as we had a early start. Wow! What a box that was, very very impressive. Our hosts...

I only stayed for a short time but met very friendly staff and was treated very well. I would have loved to have a tv in my room but did appreciate the wi-fi connection although it was also a very weak connection in my room. The breakfasts were delish! The garden is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend this Guest House...

We only stayed here one night but the inn keepers, Carol and Gavin exceeded all expectations and went beyond the call of duty. Its a charming place with lots of character as described elsewhere. You won't go wrong staying here. Now the story. Our family safaried on a private reserve and then went into Kruger with a private guide, Frank...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Laughing Waters Guest House in Hazyview is tucked away in the heart of the picturesque Sabie Valley on the banks of the Sabie River. Journey through the lemon trees to arrive in a beautiful sub-tropical garden, surrounded by tall trees and populated with an abundance of birds, Laughing Waters Guest House is a quiet haven, with a familiarity and comfort that makes you feel quite at home.On checking into Laughing Waters Guest House Hazyview, one will be settling into a retreat that boasts high archways, and a Tuscan ambience, a building that evokes an antiquated awe. Through the landscaped courtyard one will find their room with views of the beautiful surroundings. The location of Laughing Waters Guest House, close to the river, ensures slightly cooler temperatures within the valley; this comfortable micro climate makes Laughing Waters Guest House especially welcoming for a Lowveld destination in the hot summer months. The riverine forest and indigenous bush surrounding the farm, the proximity to Hazyview and the Kruger National Park and the occasional sighting of hippos makes Laughing Waters Guest House feel slightly "wild," but still very civilised! We have an in-house tour operator to assist with any tours / transfers you need planned. ... more   less
