Returning 3 years after our first visit was a joy, everything was comfortably the same. Superb accommodation ample space, fantastic bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Very comfy beds. All situated in beautiful gardens Phil and Margi are lovely and their breakfasts are excellent. Drinks and a catch up on the veranda are a must plus the chance to...

South Africa has some very good B&Bs and this is one of them. Philip and Margi were the perfect hosts. They were friendly and helpful without being suffocating which suited us. The spacious lodge is situated in a lush garden with its own private patio and the well equipped kitchen allowed us to have a few relaxing meals without the...

A great Bed and Breakfast run by a delightful couple who have a passion for their job. My room was HUGE and everything that you could think of was in the room - enough room for all your belongings from counter space to luggage stowage. A great quality bed with firm mattress and quality sheets. A great social place around...

Our second stay at Blue Jay Lodge, the previous in 2009 and it didn't disappoint. Margi & Phillip are such good hosts and the lodge is set in a very quiet leafy area of Hazyview and ideal for getting into the Kruger via the Phabini or Orpen gates. Plenty of birdlife in the grounds too. The rooms are very spacious...

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in South Africa. The room was luxurious to say the least and breakfast alone was worth the visit. We stumbled across Blue Jay Lodge on the internet and will definately be going back.

We had a lovely stay at Blue Jay lodge. The room was out of this world, complete with a four poster bed, a beautiful balcony and a fantastic bath tub. Phil and Margi were the perfect hosts and were super helpful when recommending places to go. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection! We would definitely book again! Thank you...

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Rooms very comfortable with nice detail. Self-catering unit was extremely well equipped. If you are looking for privacy, this is not the ideal place. We were a family and had two chalets and it was perfect for us.
