We had a lovely stay at the Olifant Rest Camp! From other reviews I expected the camp to be more rustic. Yes, the huts are old, but they are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were wonderful! The grounds were lovely and the views were gorgeous! I would highly recommend this spot!

We spent two nights in Lebombo Guest house, we were a family of 5 and loved the fact that each couple got their own room and bathroom quite secluded from others. The rooms were very comfortable and the beds comfortable. We loved the view of the river from the house and watched the Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo's and numerous buck from...

Has not changed or been updated since my last visit 6 years ago. Could do with updating bathroom and shower facilities. Very good outdoor cooking facilities. Ideal though for a quick overnight stay. Overall it could be improved. Check-in staff pretty miserable and unwelcoming.

definitely try to book a hut with a view. you can just sit on your little verandah and the game will pass you. friendly service at the restaurant. be aware of the monkeys when you leave anything outside. as all the krüger park huts and camps they could do with a little TLC. other than that clean with friendly staff.

The Camp, which is located on the Olifants River, has a spectacular panorama view! If you do not stay in this camp, definitely stop for a coffee. The service in the restaurant is a bit dodgy, but the view more than makes up for this. Just be careful when sitting under the trees.... there are birds in the branches above,...

Stayed at Nshawu lodge at Olifants camp in Kruger. This is great accommodation for eight people. The view from the deck overlooking the Olifants river is one of the best views to watch animal and birdlife around the river-just amazing. The lodge is large with plenty of room for you to spread yourself. Bedooms are clean and tidy and fitted with...

There are wonderful views at Olifant, and the bungalows are nice, but try to book one with a kitchen as the communal kitchens can be quite a walk to get to. We sat and watched a herd of over 40 Elephants with their calves, some really tiny, come down to drink in the river. This from the veranda of our...

My "Kruger Experience" at Olifants was not as good as I hoped it would be. My rondavel was well positioned with a fine view of the river - elephants crossing it was a delightful site to see. Accommodation is dated and tired/basic. The restaurant is good and dining on the outdoor terrace is very enjoyable. Restaurant staff are friendly, helpful...

This was our second visit to Olifants. The first time we did a night game drive and we did not see anything during the entire drive. That was disappointing. This year we chose to go out and drive ourselves in the early morning and we only saw... rabbits. You should know we live in a country that has a lot...
