This rest camp is by far the biggest we stayed in. It had everything you could need and more! The restaurant had great food. The beds were clean and comfortable. The reason I gave it four stars only was because we had a mouse or something in our room that kept me up half the night. The shower also didn't...

Skukuza is a nice camp for those who like amenities as it has a big restaurant, grocery store, conference facilities and more. This time around we did not see as much game in the area as before and we probably prefer Berg-en-Dal en Lower Sabie that are both a bit smaller, but have lots of game and more than enough...

It is a nice rest camp, the rooms (little round huts) are comfortable, with A/C (for cold or hot air dependinng on the season). There is a shop (curiosities and groceries etc.) and a nice restaurant with a beautiful terrasse facig the water from where animals can be observed.

We travelled to Skukuza from Olifants Rest Camp to spend another 2 nights in Kruger. It was a much larger and busier camp but the accommodation was much the same. We didn't have cooking facilities in our bungalow so we used the braai. (The shop stocks everything you need) So glad we chose to spend 2 nights at each camp...

Skukuza is an extensive complex, with a shop, grocery, a formal restaurant, a fast food takeaway, an airfield and a gas station. We stayed here two nights. Lodging is in thatched roofed, traditional roundavals. There is a full sized refrigerator, sink, dishes and table and chairs. The a/c worked well. However, cleaning was minimal. We called it "dirty." Even the...

A truly beautiful camp to visit but not enough staff to cope with extra tourists over a long weekend. Far too many tourist buses blocking parking areas. Ridiculous queues for takeaway food and dirty toilets. We stopped a few days after the long weekend and it was great. I cannot understand why the park management do not make provision for...

Clean, simple and basic facilities, but excellent compared to cottages available at US campgrounds - clean sheets and towels, comfortable beds, and excellent cooking facilities complete with utensils, etc. Only issue we had we had was slow drains in the shower but the water was hot so no complaints. Wish we had longer!

Staying the night at Skukuza when visiting Kruger is the right move since you are inside the park. However, the bungalow we stayed in was very basic and we were not quite prepared for it. its great if you are kitted out for camping but for a one night stay, its hard. There were no plug points for charge our...

We stayed in the Kruger National Park for 3 nights, and every rest camp we stayed at was brilliant. We started in Skukuza, then drove up to up to Letaba and then we came back down to crocodile bridge. We stayed in the safari tents which were perfect. I think camping would have been too much work and the accommodation...
