What can I say, This place is amazing. I was very fortunate enough to tag along with a friend on safari here for the night. Location is great, about an hour from Hoedspruit Airport. The game viewings were great. We had a brilliant guide (Rudi) and tracker (Sollie). Got to see a lot of game just in 1 day especially...

Nothing beats Malewane. This was a repeat visit and the lodge, under Edward and his fabulous team, is better than ever. We have been on many luxury safaris in Africa, but this one beats them all. The quality of the personalised service, the variety of food, the knowledge and ability of the rangers, and the restorative spa are all second...

Impossible to describe the elegance and beauty of this lodge, or the experience of a lifetime viewing Africa's Big Five in a private reserve with the lodge's remarkable guides and trackers. When they're not driving you within feet of these spectacular creatures living their lives, you're living your own dining on whatever you like, masterfully prepared, served on decks overlooking...

We have been to a number of safaris but none compare with what the Royal Malewane has to offer. We stayed in one of their 'simple' cottages. Anything but! Our stunning suite had just about all the luxuries you could think of. Very comfortable beds, a fire place that was used on cold nights giving a romantic feel. There was...

We started our safari at Royal Malewane and truly spoiled. Incredible service, excellent food and quality guides. Highly recommend Juan as he is also a professional photographer. Rooms are beyond magnificent. Gaming good but very dry only due to droughts. Saw Big 5 including Black Rhino. Lots of zebras, giraffes, buffalo and antelope family. Limited lions and leopards and cheetahs....

I know many of our vacations are "trips of a lifetime" but I suggest you schedule a visit to The Royal Malewane to reset the bar for the best of the best. While the lodge, staff, food and amenities were as good as we have ever experienced anywhere in the world, it was the setting that takes the trip over...

It is really hard to adequately describe the Royal Malewane experience, without resorting to superlatives. The ability of the Royal Malewane team to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay is unfaulted. The lodges are very well appointed, and decorated in a welcoming luxurious style. The food and beverages are of the highest standard. The entire camp will beautifully...

We stayed at Royal Malewane (2 nights) for part of our honeymoon and it was an experience we will cherish forever. The camp and our room were both stunning, and our guide (Juan Pinto) felt like our own personal Discovery Channel. Juan is clearly an expert in his many fields, and delivered on not only tracking down elusive and shy...

We recently spent five days and four nights at the Royal Malewane, staying in one of two two-bedroom suites. Everything about our stay from our arrival to our departure was unforgettable. Our suite came with a personal chef (HUGE shout-out to Chef Gift) and butler (another HUGE shout-out to Ashell). The food Gift prepared for us was nothing short of...
