This is a very good value lodge with rooms comprising of individual wooded lodges with canvas sides and all amenities, including both an indoor and outdoor shower. When we stayed, in November, no mosquito nets were provided but they didn't appear to be needed and we were not bothered by mosquitoes at all. Rooms were clean and well maintained with...

I stayed at the Nkambeni Tented Lodge in early November 2014 for a 3-night stay as a base for a safari visit in the Kruger NP, on the second stage of my 15-day 'Bushveld & Battlefields' holiday (plus Victoria Falls extension) operated by Voyages Jules Verne. This might 'only' be a 3* facility, but even for quite a lengthy stay...

The lodge is just outside the Numbi Gate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. A mini bar fridge was sorely missed and would have been nice to keep the water bottles chilled before going out on a morning game drive. The lodge is clean and well maintained. We stayed...

The lodge is very comfortable and clean. The rooms are a wood frame with canvas and have air con, interior and outdoor showers and are very nice. The best thing is how beautiful and very well located it is . The food was good, buffet style, breakfast was the best meal. Overall we had a great time at the park...

I was very dubious about the fact that this was a "tented" lodge. However the rooms are more like wooden chalets with thick canvas walls, this does pose a problem when it comes to rain as the noise can wake you up, however you get what you sign up for so if you want a hotel room, book a hotel....

The Nkambeni Tented Lodge is a couple of kms outside the Numbi Gate to Kruger which makes it extremely easy to enjoy all that Kruger has to offer. There is a lovely main Lodge where all meals are served. The tents are dotted around the property so try to get as close to the Lodge as possible - otherwise it's...

Lodge located near the Numbi gate Kruger Park entrance. The tents offer good comfort and are very tidy. Only negative to the tent is that water came in during heavy rain. The food is very good and a lot of variation. The walk from the restaurant to the canvas tents is quite long and very poorly illuminated, but it's part...

Was based here for 3 nights as part of a 4 Day Tented Safari with Nhongo - see my other review. You can consider the rooms as standard 3 star hotel rooms that happen to be under canvas. All the normal 3 star amenities are here: tea/coffee, shower (showers in fact: 1 inside and 2 outside), maid service, plenty of...

The place is really good. The rooms are clean and spacious. They have rooms with ac and mosquito nets to ensure you are comfortable in Kruger National Park. The room in which I stayed had attached bathroom with both options- closed and open. The setup is really nice. Their reception/dining area is really good and relaxing. They have a swimming...
