Myself and my husband decided to have an overnight stay at Raptors Lodge before driving onto Nelspruit. I was highly surprised to see how large the unit was and the setting out of the rooms around the common entertainment area was incredible. I felt bad that our children had not joined us as the accommodation allows one to have your... More

This a great place to stay, it is very affordable and the rooms are very spacious. You wake up in the morning to the view of Buks walking past your room otherside of the fence and they have a great restaurant and bar.

What a delightful way to conclude a trip through Kruger National Park. Exit at Orpen Gate and travel to Hoedspruit where you can unwind, relax and reflect at this peaceful self catering lodge. So much activities in the vicinity of the town.

I wanted to impress a friend from England on her first trip to South Africa and Kruger National Park, I booked Raptors lodge for a group of four for four days, the lodge was more than we expected with living room, kitchen, lovely bedrooms and outdoor showers and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy meals and drinks. Very quiet and... More

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Raptors Lodge. It was lovely. There was lots to do in the area and the Orpen Gate to Kruger only 60kms away. We stayed in a two bedroom lodge. Each room had their own bathroom with outdoor shower. The beds were so comfortable. Mosquito nets were intact with no holes... More

I have stayed in the chalets in the past. This time I got one of the apartments. I was not disappointed. Had 3 bedrooms. Tastefully furnished with everything you need. Plus DSTV full bouquet. Paid just over R1000 for two people. That is great value for money. Perfect location in the heart of Hoedspruit.

A really pleasant overnight stop. Clean and quiet place. The place was definitely designed for families (deck, braai, outdoor showers). Not sure to understand why the bathtub was so large in such a dry area!

The house was great. From the rooms, the deck and braai, outdoor showers and TV for the kids. Location is gteat for travelling in all directions. Daily servicing makes this more than worth it. Office personnel were super helpful. Nice little pool too.

A really pleasant overnight stop. Quite luxurious, very clean. One tip; do not arrive before 2pm as check in time is only after 2pm. The aircon didn't work in the second bedroom and could be quite uncomfortable in the heat of summer. Loved the outside showers.

Stayed here for a week in September. So peaceful in the bush. My unit had an outdoor shower (also inside) small kitchen and braai area. Also large lapa. The units are hidden in the bush so you do not see your neighbours which is great.
