I really am not sure where to start other than just to say that Kwa-Mbili was perfect in every way. My wife and I stayed only 1 night for our honeymoon but Melanie, Neil and Andrew made the best out of the time we had. The property is intimate enough that you get the attention that is not possible at...

The rooms were very comfortable, the food was absolutely excellent, and most of all, the people were so kind and accommidating. We saw animal after animal (including 4 of the big 5 and 3 of the secret 7) with a wonderful guide/tracker combo in...

This was my second safari holiday at Kwa Mbili. The experience is fantastic! and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. The encounters with nature, a bush walk, multiple game drives in Thornybush, and a day long game drive in Kruger. The food, the staff, the ambiance, were all wonderful. The setting is incredible, a fantastic 4 full days surrounded by nature,...

I have also been lucky to stay in the different types of accommodation, my favourite being the tents. The game viewing has offered some of the best experiences of my life. I...

After spending 14 days self-catering in Kruger National Park, we ended our SA vacation with a 4-night stay at Kwa-Mbili.stayed at Kwa-Mbili for 4 days. We had a fantastic time. Previously my wife and I stayed in 2009, but this time we brought along our 11-yr old son. We heard lions roaring every night, and even a hyena one evening!...

We stayed at Kwa-Mbili for 5 days in May and had the time of our lives. The lodge was very comfortable and the gourmet meals prepared by the chef Geoffrey were simply delicious. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
KwaMbili Game Lodge provides an authentic safari experience at an affordable price. KwaMbili is siutated in the Thornybush Game Reserve near Hoedspruit, within the Greater Kruger area. The reserve is home to the Big Five as well as an abundance of other game and bird species. This means good sightings, either while out on game drive or on foot during bush walks. KwaMbili means "Place of Two" in the local Shangaan language. Our knowledgeable rangers will introduce you to the tracks, movements, sights and sounds which give you a window into the secrets of the African bush. Back at the lodge, view wildlife from the safety and comfort of our well-positioned hide. If all this calls for time to just let the experience sink in ... take a dip in the swimming pool, just relax in an armchair or enjoy a cool drink at the bar. ... more   less
