Our experience of Cinnamon Boutique Guest House was disappointing. The impression of the Guest House looked good but the quality was not up to its 5 star rating. It is located behind a small mall and there is no view. The welcome we received on arrival was poor compared to all the other establishments we stayed in in South Africa....

One of best hotel experiences ever! From the friendly beaming smiles every morning, exceptional service and large rooms with all amenities (biggest bathroom ever plus separate shower room!). Complimentary sherry and whisky each evening onto the "honesty" bar, which works really well. Lovely coffee machine in room + tea making option. Bottle of wine available in room if you felt...

After a long and beautiful drive on the R62 we arrived at Cinnamon Boutique Guest House and were warmly greeted by Monica. Having been kindly helped with our luggage Monica made sure that our room had everything we needed and that we had somewhere to go for dinner that evening. She found space for us at the wonderful Girls restaurant,...

We came here two years ago and by chance (or was it?) we found ourselves in the same wonderful room . All comforts thoughtfully provided with minimum intrusion. The guest house is beautifully appointed with wonderful African artefacts and the gardens/pool area are tranquil and home to some fabulous birds. Breakfast is a treat in store for those who have...

Whilst I would recommend this guesthouse there is something lacking and having thought long and hard I have concluded it does not have a soul. Perhaps this is because it is bed and breakfast only thus there is no ambience in the evenings and a total lack of visible staff at this time. This could have been improved had there...

We had a nice one night stay at this hotel whilst driving the grade route. The room was large and beautiful, and the views over the pool area were stunning. We were also fortunate enough to see a wild kudo or deer grazing in the garden whilst we were down at the pool, so that was a nice surprise! However...

Stayed one night as we were passing through the area ... and really wished we could have stayed longer. Spacious and comfortable room, with classy en-suite. The hotel terrace is quiet, secluded and overlooks a small garden and the neighbouring forest. The highlight was breakfast on the terrace while watching the Knysna Loeries feeding on the bird table. Amazing! The...

A pleasant stay although not quite there for a 5* establishment charging a top price for B&B. Room was lacking storage space and had a door to the bathroom that would not latch without remembering to push it closed. Only 8 Sun Loungers available for an establishment that could have 26 guests staying there meant that sometimes there were not...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Absolutely perfect - beautiful, comfortable room with a full range of toiletries, teas, coffees and a reasonably well stocked honesty bar. Breakfast was always freshly cooked to order. Pool, gym, towels for beach which was 5 minutes away and there was a wide range of eateries a stroll away (loved the tapas at the Blue...

Great comfy bed, clean, very good breakfast, tiny pool -did not go in. Gym is a bit of a joke, treadmill was not working, has two sets of barbells, two floor mats, bike. I ran on the nearby beach which is fantastic. Desk folks were great. Nice outside area-large!! Our room was small but could see others that were not....
