What a fantastic place. Magnificent valley and mountain views with an abundance of bird life. The chalets were superb and very well equipped. John and Judy, the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful and John is a fantastic chef offering a superb 2 course dinner for R170. This is a place to stay and relax and chill out. Do not...

What a lovely and unique place this is that Judy and John have created in the mountains of Wilderness. Breathtaking views and wonderfully designed Lodges with perfect sunlight and natural colours coming up especially in the afternoon when the sun sets. And once you have also had dinner prepared by John accompanied by the view and good wine you have...

We stayed for three nights over new year. It was a bit of a shock arriving on the steep rough road but once you got used to driving it, it was fine even in a little car. Well worth it for the views at the end anyway. The chalets are very private and we must have had a bath with...

My husband and I recently spent two incredible nights at this beautiful resort to start our honeymoon, and what a start it was! Upon our arrival we were greeted by John, the owner, and his two furry companions😁 and we immediately felt so welcome and right at home. John and his wife Judy have decorated the cabins so beautifully and...

We were fortunate enough to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary here. Beautiful setting. Porcupine Pie is off the main road. There is quite a narrow meandering path leading to the lodge. The lodge consists of a couple of cabins on a steep slope, spaced well apart from wach other. Very romantic, serene, peaceful and quite. Cabins are well equiped....

Our stay at Porcupine Pie was part of our honeymoon and we loved every single minute of it. The location offers stunning views, the chalets offer every comfort you could ask for and the activities that where part of our package (horse riding, canoeing trip, massage) where organized as we wanted. John and Judy made sure we had everything we...

For me this is the perfect honeymoon destination. Situated in the Forest, spectacular views, birds singing in the mornings, great food prepared by John. I will definitely go back for my 1st anniversary.

We had a fabulous stay at Porcupine Pie. The lodges are absolutely beautiful, very luxurious and the views are to die for. John and Judy made us feel very welcome, giving lots of tips about the local area. We ate in the local village one night, but took advantage of the offer of dinner in the Lapa & would recommend...
