Having stayed in several game lodges, this was by far the most comfortable, if not the most exciting, but we had a great time. The accommodation was clean, comfy beds, plenty of hot water and the most beautiful swimming pool. The early morning game drives were always made interesting by the great ranger. The reserve is private, so off road...

We loved our stay here...having spent a couple of nights in an unexpectedly quaint hotel the previous nights, we felt so relieved when we discovered the beauty, the luxury, and the exceptional scenery outside our window at Zulu Nyala. We were stunned by the animals, in particular the (very) close encounter with elephants. It sparked in me the need to...

My husband and I went on this trip won at a non-profit fundraiser. (I now work for a non-profit and we are going to auction this trip at our next event)! It was my husbands first time on a safari and my second. We both loved it! The tented rooms are great unless the wind is blowing! The "roof" flapped...

In the big picture of safari places in South Africa, this is a pretty small reserve. (Only 5K acres I recall) however, they do an amazing job with what they have. We were there for a week with 2 other couples. Our guide was James and he was amazing. He really "made" our trip. Pleasant staff, decent rooms, incredible views....

The rooms were spacious and well kept. Each room had a veranda for sitting and viewing the grazing animals who came to visit. The food was wonderful with a great variety of native and "western" food available. Africa at its best!

This safari lodge provides a genuine and authentic South African experience. First of all, the staff are extremely friendly and professional. The lodge combines the natural and raw experience of live animals in their natural environment with the comforts of a clean, safe, and friendly hotel with delicious food. We had Jenine as a guide and she is extremely knowledgeable,...

Its tough to write reviews like this about places that many people really like. If you go here, you will see lots of wildlife, great views, probably have a nice and knowledgeable guide, eat good food, and maybe meet some fellow travelers you like chatting with over dinner. We had those experiences and overall were physically comfortable. We saw elephants,...

Recently stayed here for three nights whilst attending a wedding at the game lodge! On a whole the place is wonderful, the staff are very friendly and helpful and cannot fault them! It has some beautiful views and is a lovely part of the world! I have to say though that some items are abit expensive at the place! Whilst...

Despite warnings on this site and other people we know, we spent 3 nights and 2 full days here as our introduction to safaris in first visit to Africa. Our trip was purchased on charity auction like most others. The resort itself was nice and the room was spacious and comfortable. We took 4 game drives on site and you...

We were winners of a charity auction ( and it appeared quite a few other people there were as well), and decided to make a three week excursion to South Africa because of it. We also were not staying the entire week allotted by the win. Zulu Nyala was in the middle of our vacation, so we had already had...
