We stayed two nights at Rhino River Lodge on our way back from Swaziland and went on four game drives, two night and two early morning. Our guide was very professional with a wealth of knowledge not only of the game but also the flora and fauna. We were lucky enough to see four of the big five and plenty...

My wife and I and friends stayed here for three nights. What a magnificent part of the world, great accommodation, food and guided game drives which allowed us to see a wide range of wildlife. There is a central restaurant area the food is good and the staff were very attentive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the lodge. Our spacious room had its own patio where we enjoyed watching the warthogs and buck come close to investigate. The huge fever trees are spectacular and the highlight was seeing three lions, two females and five sub-adults all in one day. Our private anniversary dinner planned for us was very special, with...

Thank you so much for your review. I am so glad that you mentioned the fever trees, as they are my personal favourite feature of the lodge grounds. It sounds like you had some good game viewing too, and I am glad to hear that the staff took care to do something special for you for your anniversary. I will...

Rustique, but elegant mid-size lodge; staff has the time to take care of every guest indivdually; the rangers are present at the meals after the drives and make the "debriefing" perfect; the chef is a star-chef who pays attention to the taste of the dish as much as to its presentation; all with a French touch; individual wishes are met...

Our Ranger Gerry was determined we should see lion - and we sighted 15 in one morning. The lodge is comfortable and is a family run atmosphere. Accommodation is fine. Food is good and there was always a choice. This is our seventh time at Rhino River lodge and we usually bring overseas guest here. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience....

This was our second visit and we loved it even more than our first one. The staff do everything possible to make sure you have a great time. Our knowledgeable ranger, Andrew, tried really hard to find interesting animals for us to see. The accommodation is fine and the food is plentiful and well cooked. Highly recommended.

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Rhino River Lodge end of January. Accommodation was spacious, large comfortable bed, & one of the best showers ever where the controls for water are a good distance away from the shower head. Decor was may be looking a little tired but for what you pay I think this is very...

I stayed at Rhino River Lodge last week with my family and sisters family. We couldn't rate the accommodation, service, friendliness of staff and our safari guide Kyle was amazing.
