I booked a room at Mythai Guesthouse after coming across it on TripAdvisor. It was a lovely accommodation and within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants/bars on Florida Rd. Lillian was a wonderful manager and made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of during our stay. We loved it there!

We were two couples and stayed there from 2016/02/28 to 2016/03/03. Beautiful spacious rooms and a calming natural atmosphere. Great hospitality by Lilian and her staff. I will certainly go back. This guesthouse is central to everything - beaches, Moses Mabhida, shoppoing centers, restaurents and many more. Our stay was great.

Beautiful setting, tastefully decorated with a warm feel. Happy to have happened across this gem online! Loads of restaurants close by. Owner is friendly and most helpful. Tranquil gardens are truly reminiscent of Thailand.

Stayed there for a weekend in November and it is such a peaceful place, and the breakfast is amazing. Great value for money, really close to shops and restaurants and Lillian was a lovely host. I'll be sure to visit again in time and time again.

Stayed for a week over Christmas and were looked after very well by Lilian and her staff. The guesthouse covers three floors climbing up the side of a Morningside hill, with all the rooms nestled within the palms, wooden stairs and decks of a Thai-themed home. Breakfast by the pool was lovely - cereal, fresh fruit and warm cakes supplemented... More

Lilian is a wonderful host and staff are friendly. Stunning garden and peaceful atmosphere. I did not stay at the house long, but felt right at home. Will be back and will recommend to my friends. There is a Coffee bar with the meanest coffee...Yum. Private parking and security watch man on duty.

"My Thai" has a lovely setting with an eastern theme and lush garden with two plunge pools, so you don't get the feeling you in the middle of a busy city. The guesthouse is on a great location to visit Durban. For dinner you are directly at the Florida road with a lot of restaurants and bars. The breakfast was delicious. The team is friendly and helpfully. The room was clean and had everything what you need. Thank you.
