After spending three weeks on a cruise ship it's not surprising this hotel was a disappointing. Badly situated in a part of town where we were advised not to walk at night. The rooms (we had two different ones) were grim and noisy, though the beds were clean and comfortable. Contrary to advertised there is NO RESTAURANT. The snack bar/...

This hotel is very central and our reason for staying overnight.Undercover Parking is in a narrow lane opposite the hotel at a cost of R50 which is reasonable,But on arrival we were requested to pay an additional R200 refundable for parking. To cut a long story short,we were not refunded,It was a blatant con.Terrible experience all round....

I'm not too picky, but worst hotel I've ever been in. The place was probably nice 30 years ago, but now it has a creepy, decaying vibe. Specifics: No wifi in the room (although promised) - sometimes available in the crowded lobby; the phone was broken; the bed was old and lumpy; street noise is extremely loud and constant; the...

I do understand renovations are never attractive when in the process but could have been blocked off. elevator was extremely slow. I booked for a king size bed however received a room with two doubles. The reception was extremely informative and...

I stayed here during a meeting where the Albany was an "overflow hotel". I read the reviews and my experience more or less captures most of what's been said, although I'm less negative about the experience than the most critical review (I mean someone wants free parking in the central business district of a large city? at what normally is...

For a hotel that size they should have a parking that you don't have to pay for everyday. I would not book it if I'm staying for more than two days. I stayed during the marathon & inside the hotel it was like a mall of Africa ( crowded) . Receptionist needs to be friendly a bit ( I understand...

Room was clean spacious the only turn off was the housekeeping staff like every hotel they were so noisy. They also lack hospitality qualities they were sitting on the couches which I believe those were for the guests and...
