We had a studio room, which catered for 4 people but grateful it was just 2 of us, because it would have been very cramped! The bed was comfortable and the room itself was clean but the bathroom needs a revamp to make it a nice place to stay, Also, the lift lobbies and the passages are dark and although... More

I'm visiting the annual Tourism Indaba since 2004 and after a bad experience at the hotel where I normally stayed (robbed) - moved 2011 to the Durban Spa. This year I've booked a double sleeper and will in future always do same. All equipment similar to bigger units, neat, tidy, clean, comfortable, spacious and cozy. The staff went out of... More

Found our 8th floor unit extremely noisy over weekend lots of traffic noise, tailgaters partying in parking area by beach, loud music 'till early morning hours - BUT I did have the windows open would probably be quieter with windows shut. Staff... More

The staff was very friendly and the hotel has a really nice heated pool for bad weather which I had throughout my stay, which was an up side for me. But on the other hand the room was infested with ants firstly which made it very difficult for us to have food in our room even though it was a... More

Clean neat establishment, good location, on the beachfront with good views of the north beach. the unit was clean and the linen too, however the furniture and decor is outdated and gives the unit a boring feel. would really suggest a revamp and replacement of the stove. all in all was a decent place to stay in although not the... Booking accommodation from another country is unpredictable. Durban Spa staff were kind in helping us get the right accommodation for our team. They organised us a shuttle that was equally effecient n good service. Ocean view for a week. The hotel was very clean. Room service very efficient. Position is near everything. . Everything. Spurs in hotel convenient. I recommend
