An incredible place to stay from the rooms to the views, to the walks in the garden. A five star experience, absolute bliss. The hotel has a lot of historical information in the different areas, the food is amazing and the staff are there to make your stay memorable. Lots of space to just sit and enjoy the view, read... The Vineyard has been a favorite hotel of mine since the 1980’s. It has consistently retained a level of comfort, friendly service and understated elegance. Three qualities I seldom manage to put in the same sentence in describing a hotel. Everything about it is good – if I was pushed to find a complaint it was that the water pressure... More

Thank you so much for your kind words and continued support of the Vineyard Hotel. We are busy upgrading 41 of our rooms – including the bathroom facilities – which we hope will help improve the water pressure. This ‘graceful old lady’ is being helped into the 21st century! Thank you again for your lovely feedback. Warm regards Roy Davies More

This is probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. From the friendly, grinning porter who greeted us on arrival to the pleasant receptionists who bade us farewell when it was sadly time to leave, every single member of staff was outstanding. The setting is perfect - we hired a car and within minutes were enjoying the... More

Simply an excellent hostelry, everything runs like clockwork, staff not just polite and correct but very pleasant, food excellent, view stunning, gardens large and very well kept. Location is perfect if you have a car or if you want Southern Suburbs, less appropriate for beach holidays.

Great hotel ensconced amidst verdant gardens and with a breath taking view of table mountain. Modern yet warm and relaxing. Great venue for retreats away from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. Friendly staff, excellent food.

We love the Vineyard Hotel for grouo breakfasts. The full buffet from fruits, continental eats, kippers , sausage, bacon, juice, including teas & coffees@ R145 or continental onky @ R110. A beautiful setting & excellent service. They don't take reservations for breakfast but we went early to secure our seating. Great views & walks in the garden with tortoises roaming.... More

This hotel is very special with its stunning mountain views, beautiful gardens and the feeling of understated luxury. The staff are smiling and want to please, and I enjoyed a fabulous breakfast every morning of my two and half week stay. Service in the bar-lounge could be sharper, however. Also, the staff at the travel desk seemed rather clueless which... More

From the friendly greeting at the front door to the excellent service right through this hotel is perfect. We have great memories of nearly 30 years of staying here.
