I overnighted here just prior to a safari trip to Namibia. I found Willem and Yvonne to be excellent hosts. The included dinner was good and basic, but the Pavlova dessert was a highlight. Breakfast was delicious, and included a very nice variety of items like eggs cooked to order. Having a ceiling fan in my spacious room was nice,...

Marben Manor is a great and secure place to stay. Well-appointed, spacious rooms and a real family welcome. Great selection for breakfast and dinner can be arranged in advance. Our dinner in the elegant dining room was home-cooked and delicious. Sociable conversation around the communal dining table was a welcome change from the usual insular hotel arrangements. Conveniently located close...

We felt at home and were made very welcome at this lovely Guest House. Yvonne and Willem are delightful hosts . Meals are delicious and conversation around the dinner table entertaining and enjoyable. Our Room was very comfortable and had all we needed. We immediately felt at home at this delightful family owned and run guest house. Behind its secure walls and gates, Marben Manor boasts very comfortable rooms, a lovely pool (long enough for laps if we had been so inclined), a tennis court and beautiful grounds with plenty of native trees and plants. The soft birdsong added to the restful and...

My young son and I stayed at here in early July 2015 as we passed through Johannesburg. We were met at the airport by host Willem and he drove us to Marben Manor. It was just what we needed after a long flight. No need to think about anything - just like family collecting you and taking you home. Yvonne...

Stayed 4 nights in Marben Manor in January 2015. We had stayed previously in 2008. What a wonderful place - Yvonne and Williem are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble Accommodation and food is excellent together with the peaceful surroundings of their property in a lovely quiet area with swimming pool and garden.

I would Highly recommend Marben Manor for the traveler or Businessman seeking for a centralized Guest House. Close to Airport and excellently managed. I visit here often and has never been disappointed.

This was our second visit to Marben Manor because Willem and Yvonne are fantastic hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them as they 'push the boat out' to ensure you have a memorable stay. The Manor really is an oasis close to Joburg airport. Our last visit was only a night or two so we were perfectly 'chilled' after...

Do not think is a normal B&B. It is very nice, you will feel as stay at home with home made breakfast, very nice room with TV and wifi free of charge. It is very near to JNB airport, about 10 minutes and offer free transfer from airport. Owners are very very kind and like to assist guests with a...
