Small hotel ina suburb of Johannesburg. Rooms are well equipped and spacious. The staff are friendly and the food lovely. This hotel is definite a good alternative to the major large brand hotels in Johannesburg. Enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend this small boutique hotel with the loveky view over the area.

We had our wedding at The View. A small classy wedding with our closest friends and family. We knew this is where we wanted to get married when we saw the place the first time. We consulted with the manager Amanda and from the start she took control and noted all our requirements. On the day of the wedding Amanda...

We spent a couple of nights at this hotel prior to going on safari and it was absolutely perfect. The name is spot on, our first afternoon/evening was spent in the pouring rain on the terrace watching a huge electrical storm, it was spectacular! and Brian attended to our every need. The evening meal was superb and reasonably priced. In...

Lovely place. Inside and outside. Garden very pretty. Food and staff exeptional. Would recomend for anyone who wants a breather and to rest peacefully. The only thing that was a liitle annoying was there was beverages on the menu that they couldn't provide. I think for a five star they should tell you before hand what is unavailable.

What a great place to stay in Johannesburg. The best service, fantastic views over the city and so peaceful. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Joburg.

Why stay at the four seasons when you can stay here if you are in Johannesburg? This is the best kept secret in Johannesburg, starting with the professional and friendly staff that went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasant one, there are only six rooms in the property that have all the commodities of the four seasons...

This was our first hotel in South Africa. We came straight from the airports which was a quite short drive. We arrived and felt straight warmly welcomed. The hotel is surrounded by and massive garden with cute little wells and a super clean pool area. The terrace is very big and nicely decorated, while sitting there you will have an...

I am so pleased to have discovered this gem of a hotel. The terrace was an ideal place to get some work done in the morning, and then to relax at the end of the day with the view over Jo'burg. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful.

The magic begins the minute you set foot in this beautiful mansion. As the most unique five star, boutique hotel in Johannesburg, "The View", is aptly named due to the panoramic vista it provides of the city. Its location provides a tranquil oasis amidst the bustle of greater Johannesburg. A gem to the core, by night The View allows for fine, alfresco dining in its restaurant overlooking the millions of sparkling lights reflecting the vibrant life of Africa's industrial and commercial capital. Additionally, guests to The View can luxuriate in our extensive and immaculately groomed, private terraced gardens.
