A charming place to stay. It was great to meet Sam and Leigh (the owners), and to chat to Sam about his days North of the Limpopo! The rooms are big and well decorated with all the necessary requirements (including fast internet). We felt like we were at home and will certainly be back.

I stayed here in November last year and it was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful big room with my own balcony, massive bathroom which was beautifully finished. Great facilities in the room such as a mini bar and tea, coffee, biscuits. It has a really boutique, homely feel and I could not have been more comfortable. Great location, just round the corner...

I stayed here for 6 days and enjoyed it very much. Sam and his team made me very comfortable. Parktown North is a delightful area. I walked to yoga, restaurants and shops. The garden is very serene, the breakfast delicious and the rooms really comfy and well equipped. Guests have their own entrance and can come and go without disturbing...

We stayed for 3 nights at The Leighwood Lodge February 5-7. Sam and Leigh, the owners, could not have been more charming. The location is convenient, very close to Hyde Park, the rooms more than comfortable, very clean and roomy and the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. There was a mini fridge in the room, a coffee maker, TV and...

This is not really a BnB but more of a home from home on so many levels. First, the general ambience is most welcoming; unsurprising as Johannesburg apparently is the largest man-made forrest on earth and the views from the terrace boast stunning views across the garden and beyond that, to jacaranda and bougainvillaea (see pic). There is also a...

On a recent trip to the Kruger Park we decided to spend a few days in Johannesburg to catch up with friends. I'd walked past Leighwood Lodge many times when I lived in Parktown North so decided to give it a try. And I'm very glad we did. The rooms are more five star hotel than B&B. We had a...
