It's typical business place, good localisation, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast and helpful staff. For those you have more time - there is big garden and swimming pool. Although they only breakfast is served they can provide you with number of take aways offers, drinks were available at the time of my stay.

I arrived after 8 o'clock in the evening, and the restaurant was closed. So only ordering take away. They didn't accept debit card. I took an hour to get my dinner. The nice man in the reception tried to sort things out, but if it wasn't for a friend lending money I wouldn't have dinner. Wifi you also had to... More

I am staying here now for the 3rd time this year. It is conveniently located in Bryanston, close to many company head quarters and in leafy surroundings. Price - value position is right I think. However it would be great if there was some vibe in the evening. There is no real bar facility - one can ask for some... More

This was the second time that my SO and I had stayed at this fine lodging and we were delighted once again. The staff are friendly and accommodating and always willing to help, when we ordered food for delivery they even brought us plates and cutlery. The rooms were in great condition and the ambience was perfect. This is definitely... More

Did a site visit to consider this venue as an option for a clients conference - the venue has great potential for a 'boutique hotel' kind of environment in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg - but their detail concerning how to work with a PCO and how to present information on menus etc seriously needs some serious work. staff are... We recently stayed at this delightful Guest House. The setting is in a beautiful garden with mature indigenous trees. The accommodation is really comfortable with good air conditioning in a large well furnished room. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, and catered to our every need. The Chef made us delicious meals at our request.... More

I recently stayed at this guesthouse and I can recommend it to visitors to Johannesburg's northern suburbs. It is located in an excellent location and the service is personalised, professional and consistent. The rooms are large with a very comfortable bed. Excellent garden views. Great value for money.

Silverwood is more like a four or five star hotel than a B&B, but with the added bonus of incredible B&B friendliness. Its location was great: in a beautiful, upscale part of Joburg (Bryanston, near Sandton) near all the big businesses and conference centres. The quality of the room was fantastic: very big, newly renovated, comfortable bed, luxuriant bathroom, wifi... More

I can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Silverwood Manor. It is true South African family style hospitality at it's best and in a relaxed setting and excellent location. The rooms are spacious and modern some with thatched roofs, well kept grounds, outside seating and pool. The staff are truly fabulous and go out of their way to help with travel, bookings,... More
