The hotel has been under renovation for the last five years after having been inhabited by Nigerian squatters and it possibly still needs another five years work. Trying to recapture the old colonial days is a tall order, but we were pleasantly surprised at the reception, cost and service - amidst the work in progress. The Grand is in the...

Great Mini Conference facilities. Awesome and friendly service and the meals were always on time and Lunch was superb. Plenty of attention to detail during our day here. Will definitely be using the facilities again

Dirkje received me into the reception area. I wanted to stay one night. Felt uneasy because I had just been to a funeral. She made me feel sooo welcome. Had a idyllic stay at this beautiful hotel and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a stunning room overlooking the ocean. The staff, food and atmosphere were second to none and can't recommend highly enough, thank you for making our stay unforgettable.

I spent one night here while on a business trip to PE. Lovely old Hotel that has been renovated. Great finishes, good food, friendly people, comfy beds, no street noise. All of that and the fact that it is centrally situated and the WIFI is great, makes this the perfect place for a business man to stop over and relax...

This is a budget hotel that offers good hospitality and a friendly service. Some of the rooms are ensuite so be sure to check what you are booking in advance.
