Very friendly owner and staff. The kitchen was large and clean and the braai area really fun. The rooms were a little impersonal and I thought a bit expensive comparing to what we have experienced elsewhere but the hospitality made up for it.

A small but very good hostel. Clean rooms, fine facilities and a really cozy garden/bar area. The staff was so sweet and helpful, and we did really feel welcome. Will definitely recommend it to others!

We spent 2 nights in the dorm and 1 in a prívate room (always with shared bathrooms). Great staff and location! Absolutely clean. Perfectly functioning free wifi. I would definitely come back and advise others to go

My son and I visited on our road trip up the Garden Route. we booked a night at Albergo because of location and price. The hostel is in a really convenient location for the beach and the outdoor facilities are great. They often light a fire and you are able to bring your own food and have a barbeque. The inside facilities are basic, with only one toilet per floor and very little space in the dorms- if they were full. But overall a...

The hostel is very well located, with good staff and dorms. They are worried to light up the fire every evening and you can braai (barbecue) if you bring your own meat. It was a veeeeery good place to stay!!!! I travelled during 33 days in South Africa and i do recommend that hostel. The only problem is: as ALL...

In my opinion the best hostel i stayed during my holidays in South Africa. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the garden. the staff was very friendly and helpful. Shops, supermarket, ATM and restaurants are just around the corner. Plettenberg Bay seems to be a safe place. We (2 male people) had no fears of walking around when it...
