In winter time the staff should light the fires in the bedrooms - as it can be very cold and chilly. The most serious cause for concern was the disruption caused by the wild monkeys at meal times - jumping on tables - stealing food, knocking glasses and cups with liquid, cutlery flying - this is no joke and puts... Lodges look out over a lake with hippos in it. On the bank opposite you can watch the animals come and go. Very friendly staff. Good game drives. Restaurant service can be a bit slow at times. Lodges very spacious and comfortable. All in all a good holiday.

An overall excellent experience , with sumptuous rooms , a wonderful ambience and outstanding game viewing opportunities. The rangers are knowledgeable and enthusiastic and serve a mean G&T at sundown.

Pumba is a beautiful place that makes you connect with nature on a deeper level. The food is great and the game drives are fantastic. The disconnection from technology( tv & computers) when you are in your room is super for family times and face to face communication. The game drivers and the eager to please staff are superb. The view is... 3 days were not long enough! We got so close to the animals - most exciting were the white lions and the elephants. We were made to feel so at home in the lodge (we were in the Bush Lodge), the rooms are very comfortable and the food was really good and plentiful! The staff all work well together to... More

Staff were great, very accommodating when we wanted a picnic and found us a beautiful spot and even managed a close encounter with Crooked Nick a bull elephant on the way back! Food was good and very plentiful, certainly wouldn't go hungry. Rooms were large and very comfortable, since we were there in Winter, thewood burner in our room was... More

We were two families traveling South Africa. We wanted to stay at the Pumba game reserve for one night but it was to expensive so we decided to only take a day tour. This was soooo worth it and a good value for money. The welcoming with drinks and muffins was a lovely surprise along with the owners son who... More

Fantastic utopia for a break from everyday busy life. An amazing experience that I would highly recommend. The wildlife and bush tonic was extraordinary, where we were able to see a huge variety of flora and fauna, much appreciated even as local farmers :)
