We booked a king cabin. These cabins are really old but it was great. We were right opposite the kids playground. The bed was comfortable, after a few days hiking what more do you need? The location was convenient. We had an early morning planned and were sound asleep, despite the kids playing by 8.30pm. What makes this place was...

Let's say right away that we will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in the area. The location is as good as you can get outside of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is not too far from Kanab and Fredonia, either. The Inn's staff is fantastic. They are very friendly and helpful. I don't...

We decided to change travel plans and added the north rim of the Grand Canyon. We were lucky to find a room on a short notice and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Jacob Lake Inn. Do not let the grounds fool you, the rooms are great, spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds. The staff was very...

Arriving before dark in a snowing day, we checked in easily in only two minutes. The staff gave a clear direction to our room. The room was warm with solid and comfort beds. Towels were clean and WiFi was good. Plenty of outlets for charging our phones. The most important thing was it takes only 40 minutes from the inn...

The Jacob Inn is ideal for the needs it serves...a convenient location near the North Rim. What I noted about my stay at the Jacob Inn. 1. The staff are the most friendly I have experienced visiting the national parks. 2. Staying in Fredonia or Kanab would add another hour for me to get to the Canyon. 3. The parking...

We stayed as many do because of the proximity to the north rim of the canyion . The staff are delightful, young university students, whose enthusiasm and customer service are excellent . Sadly the rooms are not so great. The poor lighting in the bedroom makes it difficult to read, it does however disguise the poor attention to housekeeping, but...

Stayed here to visit the North side of the Grand Canyon as its only about 3/4 hour away from the rim. Set in woodland and nice and quiet, clean room and helpful staff. The best part is they have a good restaurant and several gift shops.

We booked our stay at Jacob Lake with the intention of visiting the North Rim. However, we were traveling in late April and realized the North Rim doesn't open until mid may. Well, that being said, it's still a great place to stay if you're driving around the Grand Canyon. We started at Zion, then Bryce, and headed to the...

Thank you for your review. We are always sad when people are disappointed in finding that the road to the North Rim is closed. The road opens each year on May 15. If the weather and back roads are dry we can show you how to get to an alternate viewpoint. We are happy we could offer you a good...

There isn't much in this area, and that was said by an employee. That being said, I'm so glad that this Inn is as great as it is! There's a restaurant, small convenience store, gift shop, gas station, visitor center, a few trails, and of course the inn. The food was good and reasonably priced considering there's nothing else close!...

Thank you for your review. You are correct in saying that we are located in a very remote location. We are at least 40 miles from any point of supply. Because of that we try to provide our guests with the things they need: accommodation, gas, supplies, meals, and, most of all, cookies. Thank you for staying with us and...

Stayed here with the extended family on a trip to the greater Las Vegas region. The hotel was quite isolated but that was the wonderful thing. It is about 45 minutes from the Grand Canyon and only one of a handful of places to stay on the north side. The food was ok with adequate service, nothing to write home...
