Lovely looking place, very inviting. Its an assortment of bakery and native american shop, plus hotel. Room nice and clean, no-in room coffee or microwave, so even though we had our own coffee no means of making it, being from uk we were up at 4am and the first coffee we could get was at 6.30am. We had dinner in... More

We were there is mid- September, a spectacular time to be in the area. The Inn has old parts and new. We were in the old part, which is charming. Old pine walls, furniture and trim in the rooms, very nice sized rooms. The bathroom was a little funky, with a flash water heater taking up a lot of space,... More

It was just after sunrise and I was on my way back from the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Watching the sunrise at the North Rim can make a man hungry so breakfast was in my foreseeable future. I arrived at the Jacob Lake Inn restaurant a little after 7...it was crowded. The menu is basic and simple. The... More

We went to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon the last week of October for a short 4 day stay after being in Las Vegas for work. Although the Inn is no Vegas strip resort, the simple charm, well maintained cabins and grounds made our stay here more enjoyable than in Vegas. All of the staff was great, answers... More

you must must get the cookies! truly extraordinary. I stayed in the motel with no wifi/tv. perfectly fine. a little dated. there are rooms with wifi/ tv. I chose the cheaper option. The young staff were very nice. 45 minute drive to the North Rim. 40 min to Kanab.

The big surprise for us was the diner/restaurant and bakery counter inside the Inn -- don't linger too long if you have a sweet tooth. Reading some of the reviews here, I'm left scratching my head. Yes, the showers in the cabin may have difficulty accommodating a 400lb person... just like every commercial airline seat. And in no way was... More

Thank you for your review. I think you are scratching your head over some reviews of our rustic cabins because, although we try to give an accurate picture of them on our website, people expect them to be something else. They were built a long time ago, and the showers are small by today's standards. They are well maintained, and... More

We stayed here for one night on a journey that started in the Pacific Northwest and would end near the Gulf Coast. It was a perfect stop between Zion National Park and continuing on the next morning to the grand Canyon. The staff here is very friendly. There is a restaurant and store inside the main building and plenty of... More

We stayed in the Jacob Lake cabins the night before a Grand Canyon rim to rim hike. There were four of us, and we had two cabins. One cabin was especially basic; no hair dryer, a shower opening that anyone overweight could not fit into, a floor that sloped downhill quite severely, and only one available outlet for charging electronic... Thank you for your review. I am sorry that your cabin had no hair dryer- it must have been removed because every unit should have one. I wish I knew which cabin you stayed in. More

When we drove up, I feared the worst. However, our room was very nice and roomy. We stayed in appeared to me a new, 2 story building in the back. For a place with little competition, they did a bang up job. I would stay again, but only in this building since I have no knowledge of the other parts.... More
