This old converted schoolhouse is an absolute unexpected gem and one of the very best B&Bs I have ever visited. The proprietor is welcoming and gracious. There are huge comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean and eclectically decorated in different themes. The living areas are huge and spread out with comfy chairs, games, books and enough to keep you wandering around looking...

Stayed 2 nights recently, very comfortable room and delicious breakfast. The owner is really accommodating in every way. There is a beautiful yard to enjoy after sightseeing, the neighborhood is quiet. Lots of restaurants to choose from and interesting old buildings on the main street. The wifi was good

Very cool!! Rooms are old classrooms so they were huge(934 sq. Ft.) decorated beautifully. Common space was also grand, made our cocktails and played Battle of the Sexes. So fun. Breakfast & coffee good.

An amazing old school house I think it was built in 1907. There are 8 rooms, two story. No elevator. These are the biggest rooms you will stay in ever for a B&B and bigger than any motel. Cool decor and the lobby which is the entrance is very interesting as well. Great views on top of a hill. Easy parking...

If you ever wanted to sleep in class, this is your place! $150 or so gets you a large classroom, complete with a king-sized bed, sofa, extra single bed, quaint furniture, tall windows facing south, and a blackboard to leave a comment. Breakfast was excellent that, for us, included a spinach quiche, tasty sausage, fresh orange juice, coffee, and a...

Our room was clean as a whistle, I would stay again....Rosalie really knows how to step up the Bed and Breakfast experience from the food to the fluffy towels to her hospitality. Thank...

She made us feel so comfortable and was very welcoming. Make sure to wake up for her breakfast as she is a...

Stayed for one night and can't wait to go back! Inn is a historic school built in 1907 and expanded in 1917. On a hill by the Old Dominion Mine. We stayed on the first floor in a spacious room with 2 queens and 1 twin. Breakfast was delicious! There is an extensive collection of antiques and memorabilia. Excellent choice...

What a cool schoolhouse filled with antiques, old west decor along with school memorabilia, lovely china and a well appointed table. Rosalie was so accommodating, answered all our questions, even called the chamber to get up to date info on traveling conditions. The inn is very spacious and located very close to a trail explaining mining info. Breakfast was delicious...
