We had never been to Cottonwood, and drove down for a weekend away for a wine tour and some hiking in Sedona. Karen was very helpful and personable. She gave us a personal tour of our room and the balcony, gave us some great history on the town, and great advise on what to do and where to eat in...

Our well-appointed deluxe rooms and suites, do feel more like an apartment. Up-state NY'ers and Europeans say they remind them of flats! We appreciate this guest for taking the time to write us a nice review. Happy to hear that they also enjoyed a nice long soak in the clawfoot tub. The same one that John Wayne soaked in, when...

Had a great weekend wine tasting in Cottonwood. Karen was great getting us checked in and settled. Best surprise was good food and fun all in walking distance downtown. Rooms are clean with themes and have old world charm. Beds are very comfortable.

Appreciating these guests that take the time to write us a nice review, besides enjoying our hypo-allergenic memory foam mattresses that we've updated in every room. Don't forget to check your complimentary wine tasting at a local winery tasting room a few doors down from us, when making your online reservation.

My sister and I had an overnight visit at the Cottonwood Hotel. The owner, Karen, was friendly and helpful and pointed us at a wonderful coffee shop for breakfast. We had a suite...two rooms with the bathroom between us. The shower was great with shampoo, conditioner and plush towels! My bed was remarkably comfortable and everything was clean, clean, clean.

Our Deluxe Queen Unit #8 themed (1925) has two queens, each in their own room with a bathroom in between. The queens have hypo-allergenic posture-pedic memory foam mattresses, that most guests enjoy their comfort! Always appreciate when guests take the time to write us a nice review.

Wonderful hotel! Karen is the owner and is helpful and accommodating! All the rooms are different with cute touches like organic shampoo and condition. The hotel is right downtown so everything is in walking distance including multiple restaurants, shops and best of all wine tasting rooms. This was our fourth stay this year and we will be back in February.

3 of us spent a couple of days in Cottonwood for wine tasting in the area. Karen was very friendly, the room we stayed in (Unit 8) was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The towels are the thickest ever! We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends who want to stay overnight in Cottonwood.

Historically themed 1925, with new furnishings and memory foam posturpedic mattresses, this is our only double queen unit which accommodates a girls night out, friends, family or a couple wanting two beds. Some amenities are a small frig, kuerig coffee maker, wine glasses & cork screw. Don't forget to check your complementary wine tastings at a local winery at time...

My sister & I stayed in the John Wayne Suite. It was very roomy, had all the comforts of home. A nice kitchen, fully stocked with every thing needed in a kitchen,, other than food. It was very relaxing, quiet, perfect location. Our view was of main street. The balcony was out in front of the building next to our room....

Karen was so sweet and spent lots of time with us. Great historical hotel. We were visited by the Reverend Brooks. (Ghost) He likes Rum. Old Town was awesome, we had a ball. People very kind, lots of antiques, good wine, food & rum.

My friend and I stayed in unit 7. It was nice and better then expected. Karen was very nice and we were able to check in early. She took us to our rooms and went over the details and bought us to the balcony to see the views of cottonwood and Sedona. Will be back to stay in the hotel...

I found this hotel to be excellent! The rooms were very clean and the location was excellent! Each room has a different theme and it's great you can actually pick what room you have. Our room was located upstairs and although the rooms are on the small side, this is expected considering the history of this hotel which I found...

Thank you for a wonderful review. FYI for those reading, because most of our units have small rooms combined the average guests thinks of our rooms as being small. According to USAToday, the average hotel room is roughly 325 square feet with interior dimensions of approximately 13'x25' (including a full bathroom). Our rooms in the original hotel upstairs are 338...

I'm giving this hotel 3 stars for the two best things about it -- the location in the center of the town and it was very clean. We stayed in the 2-bedroom unit #6 and when you entered it (directly from the street), you immediately stepped down into one of the bedrooms which you had to walk through to get...

Historic hotels should be a destination and not a place to stay because there is nothing else available. The A/C works perfectly fine, Some guests think its too cold, some think its too warm. Unfortunately most people have to play with the controls and open windows with an a/c running!!! Go figure... This large 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite works...
