We spent one night here. Check-in is at the Tavern restaurant next door, where we got a free drink. The room was beautiful and the bed was firm and comfortable. Located in the historic district of cottonwood, we highly recommend this property.

We were "bumped" to the Penthouse over the Valentine's Day weekend when the hotel was really full. WHAT A MAGICAL PLACE! I travel quite a lot and this was perhaps the most wonderful hotel I have EVER stayed. Free drinks, free breakfast, free wine tastings, Philosophy products in the bathroom. . . all while being the most fab location in... More

We chose this hotel because of the great reviews it has received and it certainly is a nice hotel but there are a few things that could make it better. The room we used only had a very small window and the artificial lighting was a little dim. You get free water and a welcome drink on your first night... More

We stayed at the Tavern Hotel on an overnight package that included a drink upon check in, wine tasting, dinner and breakfast. We probably went with few expectations but the rooms were well designed and decorated with a slight variation on the standard hotel room which made it feel comfortable and roomy. We had lunch at the Tavern Grille and... More

Ok what's up with the title? I forgot my sweat pants on our three week trip to Arizona. My wife and I were in Sedona staying at the Sunset Chateau for four nights (see my review to follow...fabulous fyi) and I realized I didn't pack any lounge wear for the evening hours in the room (i.e.. get out of jeans... Clean, cute, comfortable room in the heart of Old Town Cottonwood! Can't go wrong with the sip and stay package. The Tavern grill was a great place to watch a football game while grabbing lunch and Nic's was good Italian food for dinner.

We loved staying at this hotel, both for the property itself and for the location. First the location: This hotel is at one end of a short stretch of road known as Old Town Cottonwood. Strolling up and down this road (Historic 89A) you feel removed from all hustle and bustle, even though the usual chain stores and fast food... More

I read so many great reviews about this hotel, I was really happy that it did not disappoint! The room is warm, nicely furnished and the king bed was so comfortable. The room had a mini fridge which came in handy to keep our drinks and leftovers. We will definitely be back!

Lovely and quiet atmosphere with warm furnishings/décor. Rooms are spacious and very clean! Very professional, helpful, and courteous staff. Appreciated the free cocktail and wine-tasting coupons given to us on arrival. A few small issues stood out that prevented my giving the hotel and excellent rating (which I so badly wanted to): My husband and I like a cold hotel... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. It is a very nice hotel but there are a few issues you need to know about. First know that this only has 10 rooms and you check in at the Tavern Grille next door. It worked fine. The rooms are clean and quiet. The TV is very nice and the bathroom shower was... More
