The perfect getaway hotel with small-town charm and big-town service. Our room (108) was perfect in every way, large, cozy-modern, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The amenities like the welcome cocktail, the wine tasting and the gift card for dining were awesome as was the breakfast. A 5-star stay for which we can only hope to return again in the...

We did the sip and stay package and it was sooooo enjoyable......the rooms at The Tavern Hotel were way beyond what we had anticipated .....very cozy, yet large, and modern....the restaurant at the hotel has great food and drinks. The wine tasting at the local tasting rooms were really fun. The whole Old Town area is a real treat. We...

This hotel is located in "Old Cottonwood" which is a town about 5 miles west of Cottonwood, AZ. The outside of this refurbished building provides an excellent camouflage for the treasure within. The rooms are large, well appointed, tastefully decorated and as nice as any Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons or J W Marriott. Given this is a small hotel the...

Large, clean rooms with modern but comfortable furniture and accessories. Large walk-in tiled shower. The Tavern Grille was just a hundred yards across the parking lot from the entrance of the hotel. Other restaurants and shopping were within walking distance too; however, stores all seemed to be closed by 5 pm (we were there on a Wednesday). Stores were opening...

My husband and I have done the sip and stay package multiple times. The rooms are great. The wine tasting is wonderful and the food options are as well. It is so incredible to feel like you have completely gotten away in only a 2 hour drive! Highly recommend it!

The Tavern Grill just in front runs the hotel. It's located...

We came to Cottonwood to ride the Verde Canyon Railroad and stayed at the Tavern Hotel for three nights. Really enjoyed it. Beautifully decorated room and excellent customer service! The attached restaurant was very good.

Great stay, boutique hotel, very new, great food at their grille, Nick's owned by them as well, outstanding food. A bit of a wait on a Tuesday eve but worth it. Wonderful little town for wine tasting and shopping also close to Jerome.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Cottonwood is a small town that now hosts a first rate hotel and a number of very good restaurants. Our room at The Tavern was well appointed, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. We appreciated the various coupons that came with our room package rate. Many nice shops...

These rooms are beautiful! The customer service is excellent! The town is very charming! We didnt have time to eat at the Tavern, but the bar customer service was excellent too! I forgot my boots in my room when we checked out. They left a note on our car then went and retrieved the boots for us while we sat...
