This place has been around for a very long time. It shows it's age. Carpet is very stretched and worn, it has way to much stuff all over and just looks like a hoarder lives there. Rooms are themed, but in all honesty, the rooms are not themed to what a school house would look like. Breakfast was tasty, but...

Pros: This former elementary school has been lovingly remodeled into a multi-room small hotel. Proprietors are friendly, breakfast was good, and the place is filled with charming memorabilia. Location is quiet, esp. compared to center of town. Room--a suite, actually--was enormous. Everything was clean. Cons: The place is a bit worn--carpets and bathroom fixtures need replacing. No TV (not important...

Just as cute as it could be! Not exactly center of town, but we had a car to take us wherever we wanted to go. We shared a suite w another couple and were very happy sharing a bathroom and sitting room. Breakfast was great. Coffee was awesome.

My wife and I wanted a memorable place to celebrate our 15th Anniversary that would also be within our budget. We were so pleased we plan to return on another special occasion! One caution: all sleeping rooms are up a long staircase with no elevator available (as you would expect in an inn 100 years old!). Great location; as you...

My husband and I stayed in one of the larger rooms at the school house. It was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was really good. The owners are very nice, and answered any questions we had. This place is not right in town, so you have to hike down to see the downtown, but the walk is very nice,...

Two couples stayed two nights and enjoyed our stay. John had a meeting the evening we checked in. He told us where he would leave the keys and would get with us in the morning. Everything went off with our a hitch. Rooms were spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was very filling and quite tasty. John...

My husband and I had a lovely stay at The School House Inn. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner. He gave us a brief tour of the building and shared it's history with us. He is very warm and welcoming. We stayed in the "Writing Room," which was very nicely appointed. The School House is very quaint and...

Ok, I have to admit I am not a fan of B&B's and our stay here solidified that feeling. We were here with 3 other couples for a fun weekend of hiking and touring the area. When we get here, after being on the road all day, wanting a good meal and a drink, we are told to hurry up...

We are sorry you were discouraged. We strive for True authenticity from a hundred years plus back not a dollhouse. Temporary helper made a grave mistake when cleaning so we are sorry about the hair issue.

A lovely old schoolhouse that has become a B&B. Our suite is the Library. Other rooms are named The Principal, Writing, Arithmatic, Teachers' Lounge, etc.,.....my favorite is the Music Room. The decorations are so clever. They serve a very nice breakfast. Bisbee is a old mining town that is both educational and fun to explore. Put this on your bucket...

John runs the school much like a teacher....He gives you a tour and history of the place then tells you what is expected of you as the student/guest. Breakfast is served from 7:30-8:30. Coffee is served starting at 7 am. Breakfast was good. Rooms are large and quaint with historical décor. Not sure if children would be welcomed much here...
