We spent 3 nights at this hotel, and used it as a base for Denali. It was a fair drive to and from the park, and along with the Shuttle to Wonder Lake, made for a long day - but as the days were long in the summer, that wasn't horrible. The property itself is very nice - very reminiscent...

This hotel is designed specifically for those who are doing the Princess Land and Sea tour. It is very secluded and it's main function is a launch point for all the Princess activities with a great view of Denali as bonus. The aurora borealis show is worthwhile and the hiking paths are quite tame and pretty. The restaurants on site...

This Princess Lodge is in most ways like all the others. The rooms are nearly identical and they command the best locations. However, there isn't much else at this lodge and the food -- including the local salmon -- was overcooked and extremely disappointing. But, if I were in the same area again, I'd return because it is the best...

Easy transfer from the train to a bus and then to the hotel. Luggage was taken care of easily to & from. Check-In was a bit slow and our excursion info was in a 2nd spot but was found easily when we asked about it. We had pre-booked our excursions and had a kayaking trip scheduled the 1st afternoon so...

The room was fine with no disturbances as it was the furthest lodge from the community areas and the view of Denali Mountain, as we walked down to these areas, was spectacular. The meals were large and tasty and the service was good. Some enjoyed sitting around the evening fire, outdoors, afterwards.

Following a seven day cruise from Vancouver BC we extended to Denali for three days. It was the last trip for the year and many eating places were closed as the water had been turned off. Restaurants are scarce and expensive.

This lodge is laid out on large park like grounds. Rooms were great BUT ask for a room away from the stairs as they are noisy and we asked to be moved. It was lovely to walk around the place and see how well planned it is and there are interesting bits of information along the way. Things I didn't...

This hotel has shuttle service to Telketna (we loved this quirky little town... inspiration for the show Northern Exposure). The hotel is a complex of more than twenty hotel buildings. Each are two stories high. There are several restaurants, all excellent. The main lodge is situated so that it provides perfect views of Denali (if you are lucky enough to...

After a 7 day Princess Cruise, train ride up to Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. the mountain is 40 miles away and unfortunately clouded so no mountain view which is understandable. Nice enough lodge but restaurants were average but no other opinions available. Really no hiking trails. The staff seemed stressed but it was the last of the season and...

This area and lodge were just gorgeous. We loved it. It was just a breathtaking area. There was so much to see. The lodge was so comfortable and relaxing. I loved the atmosphere and never wanted to leave. Would go back and look forward to the day when we can.
