We stayed in this hotel in January 2020 ( before Covid) and look back on with fondness as the last time we were able to travel before the pandemic (we got caught up in March 2020 at the beginning of another holiday but that is another story!). Other people have written fully and accurately on this hotel and it’s positives (and a few of the negatives) and so will not repeat them here. This hotel has been built to a hide standard and although there were a few on going teething issues we had a lovely stay. The rooms and public areas are very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. I forgot my gold ring (my late fathers ring) when packing on departure day and staff came and found me within minutes to alert me and return it! The food was good and there was plenty of choice even for a vegetarian like me. One can make use of a la carte restaurants 4 times during your stay - but this is true if one is staying one week or three weeks which seems a little unfair. The pool area are very nice but can be a little windy and in January the wind can be be quite gusty and cool, even cold. But we had a lovely time.…
Not suitable for disabled guests or those with health conditions. It does not have a selection of rooms to help people within these categories and is focused purely on expecting guests to pay on arrival to meet their own needs. Staff lazy at bars and rooms cleaned to a poor standard. When hotel was 20% full we were only given one waiter service drink on the beach. Staff observed doing as little as possible. Staff rude in reception area. Only positive to this hotel was the good evening drinks service on the terrace. Rep arrogant. Hotel disappointing and did not meet our expectations certainly will not return to this hotel. Hotel makes its own rules as it goes along. Management lacks structure in comparison to many other hotels in Egypt I have visited.
To start, Nice looking hotel, nice rooms, plenty of sun beds, Our holiday cut short due to Covid 19, total shambles by TUI and Hotel management, Landed 16th March to be told to stay in our seats on plane as we were to travel straight back to UK, 10 minuets later Egyptian doctors boarded plane to take our temperatures (all passed on plane) we were then let off plane to have our temperatures tested two more times one at airport terminal the other at Hotel. At hotel were advised not to unpack as we would be returning to UK next day, Holiday rep had no information from TUI / Egyptian government for 5 days (or would not relate to customers), Got phone call at 17:00 from rep 5th night telling us to pack as we will be leaving at 13:00 next day. Hotel had reduced it staff on second day of our stay, closed down half of restaraunts had to wait to be served for tea / coffee / water, food was the same most of the 5 days we were there and was cold, breakfast cereal was like cardboard and bland and no taste, Evening entertainment was not worth watching. Went to front desk for change of currency for tips to be told for me to use ATM at other Hotel ( which was closed as they had a couple of guests with Covid19 ) couldn't make it up, had to explain to front desk we couldn't use ATM as Hotel closed, they then changed currency. Been to Egypt 7 times previously but this is worst holiday not just because of Covid19, Must praise ( Magot) waiter in main restuarant morning / afternoon very helpful and charming unfortunately he was one of the waiters sent home early. Bar staff evening we had a great rapport with them ( nice guys) only good service we had. Will not return to this hotel, poor service and food, Terrible beach.…
This hotel is the best hotel we have stayed in, ever. I know the hotel is new, but there is 24 hour maintenance going on and it is absolutely spotless, so I don't think they will let it get into disrepair. We came as a couple with friends, I e.mailed the hotel in advance and asked if we could be located in the same building as our friends, and on arrival, they had put us next door to each other, which was great. The hotel room is beautiful, we only stayed in a superior double room, but it was perfect, plenty big enough for the two of us, with loads of storage and the mini bar was filled daily. Our cleaner Amir came at least twice a day, and he changed the pool towels in the room whilst we were out. On our wedding anniversary he decorated the bed and it looked so amazing with towel art, petals and glitter. The restaurants are all the best we have ever been to, with top quality food with great choice, from breakfast, to buffet restaurant, beach restaurant, a la carte restaurants - all were of a very high standard. Our favourite restaurant was the Asian followed by the Italian - though all were lovely. We didn't try the food at the pool bar. Bars, all the bars had very friendly waiters and we never went to the bar ourselves. Our favourite bars were the lobby for late afternoon/evening and beach bar in the daytime. We didn't really watch any of the entertainment as it was all outside, and I preferred to sit inside as it was a little chilly at night. Sunbeds were plentiful and well spaced out, and were of a very high quality. Drinks served to our beds and cold water brought around at 10am when the bars opened. Local area - there is nothing outside of the hotel, but we knew this when we came, we just wanted a quiet week away to recharge our batteries. It was lovely to walk around the bay, going past all the others hotels in the resort. There is also an ATM and shops at the hotel next door, which you can cut through to very quickly. We also tried the beach bar at the hotel next door, but much preferred ours. Only two minor negatives -1. On arrival, they have you all sat in the lobby bar and it isn't clear what is going on for check-in, I think they were trying to prevent any queues as there are so many people arriving at the same time, but we couldn't hear what was going on - personally I would prefer to queue. 2. The reception area is an accident waiting to happen as it looks like optical illusion with different levels and the fountain, but none of our group fell luckily and there were signs warning people of the steps. We didn't have to do anything for ourselves the whole week we were there, we were treated so well by every member of staff and we fully intend to come back in the future to this beautiful hotel.…
Beautiful hotel. Holiday cut short due to COVID 19. Will deffo be back when we all get out the other side of all of this. Hope they sort out the service before we come back. Take care and stay safe all.
