What a lovely cabin! Peg's home is within walking distance from everything in Talkeetna, great little town and a must do on the way to Denali! We had our own private balcony and actually the whole house! Peg stays in her small cabin during the...More

Your question has been directed to us. We were guests at a B&B on C in Talkeetna. You should contact Peg direct and she will be able to answer your questions. In our experience we had a car so transport wasn't an issue. I understand there is a train from Anchorage to Talkeetna. The town is quite small so once there it is easily walked. The train station is a bit of a walk out of town. We highly recommend staying with Peg who is the ultimate host. Also don't be shy and go down to the Fairview Inn one night, preferably Friday when the band is playing, sit at the bar and talk to the locals and visitors. We had an absolutely hilarious night when we visited. In summary we loved Talkeetna and our time with Peg and the locals we met in particular the train crew on "the Hurricane" - Enjoy
