We were extremely pleased with our stay at this bed and breakfast. Owner took the time to tell us about Talkeetna and attractions as well as made us a great breakfast before we left. Great upstairs room. Had hot cookies waiting for us when we got there as well as wine and appetizers. Love this place and it's history. We will be back on next trip.
Peg...thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. Bedrooms with balconies are upstairs with private bathrooms. Peg is such a lovely adorable person. She went the extra 10 miles to make us super comfortable: Cheese and Crackers, Wine and Chocolate and homemade cookies (which my husband squirreled away for his fishing trip). Hundreds of DVDs for movie entertainment and literally 20 yards from main street for additional dining options. Hands down our favorite B&B during our 3 weeks in Alaska. Thank you Peg!!!!!
A B&B on C is a sweet house in a great location. It has parking on site, although you won't need a car to reach anything in town. Peg was friendly and we appreciated her help and the great breakfast she made. The room was very basic, but had everything we needed.
Perfect location. Talkeetna is a magical town. Views of Denali from the river. Zip line is great. The Roadhouse does great pastes and food. So does the Wild West and they have a legit cannabis shop too. The ice cream at Shirley’s was delicious.
B and B on C is a log cabin a block off Main Street. It is what I think of when I think B and B, quaint, cozy, and a wonderful breakfast. The local coffee shop is nearby and restaurants within an easy walk. Talkeetna is a unique town with a mixture of pure Alaskan locals, traveling musicians, and tourists that ebb and flow from the train and tour buses. It is rustic but you can get an excellent meal. Two thumbs up on the B and B.

Your question has been directed to us. We were guests at a B&B on C in Talkeetna. You should contact Peg direct and she will be able to answer your questions. In our experience we had a car so transport wasn't an issue. I understand there is a train from Anchorage to Talkeetna. The town is quite small so once there it is easily walked. The train station is a bit of a walk out of town. We highly recommend staying with Peg who is the ultimate host. Also don't be shy and go down to the Fairview Inn one night, preferably Friday when the band is playing, sit at the bar and talk to the locals and visitors. We had an absolutely hilarious night when we visited. In summary we loved Talkeetna and our time with Peg and the locals we met in particular the train crew on "the Hurricane" - Enjoy
