I enjoyed a fantastic week of diving at the Manta Ray Bay Resort in Yap. After a week on a live-aboard in Palau, our group travelled over to Yap for another week, headquartered at the Manta Ray Bay Resort. On such a tiny island, I did not know exactly what to expect, but suffice it to say I was very,...

I found the staff at the resort to be very gracious and friendly. They did everything possible to make our trip a memorable on. The food was very good, the rooms were clean and cool, the beds were very comfortable. Most importantly, the diving was great. We saw lots of mantas, of course, sharks and even an Antler Wrasse. A...

Just came back from a week's diving in Yap. The staff were always ready to help and take care of our needs. The room was nice and the welcome manta cookies, manta towels, and letter of welcome were nice touches. The individually named/themed rooms w/matching room key was cool. The pool is well maintained and there are always towels available....

Manta bay resort is a nice place to stay. the rooms are comfy. The dive shop is great and the diving is pretty darn good. The place is pricy just to get to and there isn't a whole lot for the non dive (would suggest the island tour) but would recommend it for a nice remote get away!

Nothing to complain about! Great hotel, very friendly staff, excellent food and worldclass diving! Also the landtour half day was very interesting and shows the beauty of the island and its culture. And the mantas on every dive were just magical!

I was in Yap for a short business trip that was extended when Typhoon Noul hit the island and shut down the airport for a couple days. The staff at Manta Ray did an exceptional job of keeping the guests safe, comfortable and well-fed despite the typhoon.

I had a great stay at the Manta Ray Bay Resort. I was there for almost two weeks and enjoyed every moment. I was well cared for by the hotel staff, restaurant staff, as well as the dive guides. The hotel rooms were clean neat and maintained. The food was MARVELOUS and the dinning accommodations unique and fun. Eating on...

The Manta Ray is the best place to stay - the staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and well appointed complete with a towel on your bed shaped like a manta ray! The food is delicious - eating on the Mnuw is special - they are the only restaurant in Micronesia that cooks your fish just right....

There are very limited flights in and out of Yap. So why would you just not include the "half day" as part of the package? We left the hotel at 10pm, but check out was at noon. So there was an extra $60 a person. We were told we were on the highest meal plans for three meals a day....

We traveled with a large group, 17 specifically. So everyone had different expectations, mine were not as high as others. Tropical island to me means diving, sun and drinks, so I was pleasantly surprised by our large lovely rooms and quite happy with the resort. Others in our group were a little disappointed. So we will say 3.5 out of...
