If you are an experienced diver and are even thinking about going to Chuuk, stop thinking and go! I stayed at the resort for 8 days in December 2014 and I loved every minute of the experience. The resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the views from most locations on the property are great. The dive shop is...

Truk Lagoon in Chuuk has some of the best wreck diving anywhere as you can see from other reviews. The Blue Lagoon Resort is the place to stay. The dive shop is on the same grounds as the resort so a short walk from your room to the shop where the boats leave from. Gradvin, Tryvin and the rest of...

A truk will be a hotel of the first choice here. There is a record of the ship which sank in Fujikawa maru in the inn. The resort which becomes wreck diving and a base to a jeep island.

Truk (aka Chuuk) Lagoon is on all wrecks divers bucket list and the blue Lagoon Resort which is an Oasis of calm in an extremely poor country caters for your every need. The accommodation is adequate the views and sunsets out of this world and the food and service friendly and excellent - watch out for the Wasabi it is...

The Blue Lagoon is located at the end of the island and is accessible by either the incredibly poor road, top speed five miles an hour or by boat. The locals use the boats and one look at the road shows why. Apparently the firm that started to mend the road fell out with the government and the mess is...

Truk is a third world country with a degraded infrastructure. Travelling just a few miles from the airport to the hotel takes about 30 minutes, as speeds greater than 5 mph are not possible. The modest hotel is in a secured compound. The food is adequate. We didn't venture about the grounds too much as there are a lot of...

Spectacular setting at a point, beautiful setting to watch the sunsets, dive shop on site. The "superior" room we had was clean and spacious but not luxurious in a two story fourplex. Beds comfortable, AC worked fine. All the buildings show minor maintenance needs. The road in from the airport is in terrible shape but fortunately short. On-site restaurant has...

This was my first trip to Truk. After reading the comments, I didn't want my expectations to get too high. Yes, a 3rd world country, and that's what I envisioned. The place was better than I expected. The rooms are clean and comfortable enough. The showers work. They bring in fresh drinking water daily. They clean the rooms daily. All...

Once again I stayed at Blue Lagoon Resort in Truk Lagoon. If it was more first time I would have been disappointed but as it was my 23rd time it was exactly what I expected and had previously experienced. Without competition you can drop your game and this is what has happened here. The rooms are OK but the buildings...
