This is the best place to stay on Chuuk. I was there for 4 days of diving before getting on the Odyssey. Clean rooms and surrounding property. No hot water to speak of and the water pressure is low. Full menu in the restaurant.

I stayed here for 6 nights during a recent dive trip.. The resort is at the end of the island and in the same grounds as the Dive shop. (owned by the same family) The staff are really friendly and very helpful.. The ladies in the dining room, Gift shop and Reception are fantastic... The dive shop guides and skippers...

Spend 5 nights here driving the ship wrecks, the hotel is great food was brilliant rooms are good but basic but just what I'd expect great staff well stocked bar and views to die for, difficult location to get to but well worth it, if your not a diver there's not much here for you.

Having read the reviews before traveling here , I wasn't expecting luxury and therefore wasn't disappointed. Staff- some very nice , some not so nice . Rooms - appalling. Very dated , threadbare sheets and the skankiest pillows I have ever seen . Also large cockroaches!! Food - great selection but standard of cooking needs to improve. Setting - can't...

For guests leaving on the United red eye flights 2:50AM Monday morning beware! It’s only 15 minutes from the hotel to the airport but they insist in a checkout 11 PM so we arrive at the airport 11:30pm. So that is over 3 hours of unnecessary discomfort in the middle of the night. And Weno airport is a disgusting place...

Getting very tired. We first came here 10 years ago and nothing has changed since then, although the bar seems to have less atmosphere. It is a great shame the owners don’t wake up and realise they have such an opportunity to improve the resort no end. It could be fabulous, but then again when everyone who books here comes...

What a cracking trip to the blue lagoon resort in Truk, the dive team were superb, especially jonkey and Max, they took us to all the wrecks we had researched and more, the hotel staff were also excellent especially Brenda, the poor girls get some abuse from the Ausie blokes working close by on the oil rig and using the...

Stayed here for a day between the end of a live-aboard dive trip and my outbound flight. The accommodations were adequate, the meals just okay, the service painfully slow. of course everyone is here for the diving, and while I didn't dive with the hotel's dive staff, the guest I spoke with gave them high marks. Truk Lagoon offers just...

When diving Truk Lagoon you cannot avoid either Blue Lagoon or Truk Stop hotel. They're the only hotels on the island. Even when taking a liveaboard you'll likely spend some nights in one of these places. Blue Lagoon was built in the 60ties by Continental and in the 80ties ai believe bought by the owner of the dive center. It...

This hotel fulfilled its purpose of being a place to sleep between dives. Rooms were comfortable without being extravagant. Food basic but sufficient. Diving amazing but expensive. Beautiful location.
