Ideal if you have a function to attend and only want a clean comfortable place to stay. We had a 2 bed roomed unit. Though older than a lot of other motels we found it easy to find. Good off street parking. No noise from the main road. Plenty of heating available. Only fault was low temperature and water flow... More

Yep, noisy and a bit dated. I have stayed here three times now and know to ask for a room as far from the road as possible but this time it is worse than usual. No curtains on the kitchen window overlooked by the park behind so no privacy at night. I managed to block the window up with spare... More

A friend and I stayed here 3 weeks ago. Friendly, helpful owners. Spotlessly clean rooms and well priced. Shops and harbour nearby. We stayed in a studio a room, it had 2 bedrooms. One with a double, the other 2 single beds. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed Thanks for having Derek & l.

A very nice slightly old fashioned motel overlooking a park. Our one bedroom unit was spacious with a very comfortable king-size bed. Everything was in spotless condition. The couple that own the motel were very pleasant and helpful. We will stay there again - in spite of the noise of the large trucks that travel through Timaru.

I find all motels in Timaru to be overpriced compared to say Auckland and wellington and this one is no exception. On the plus side while it is dated in décor it is very clean, the staff are very friendly and decent and, unlike any other motel I have stayed in in Timaru they pay a lot of attention to... More

After booking 2 rooms through booking.com and not having the option with their system of specifying that our second room was for our young children - this meant our rooms ended up being quite apart. After mentioning this upon check it in this was corrected. Rooms were comfortable but somewhat dated.

Stayed one night at this motel. Very easy to find, but very very noisy. Traffic, lots of trucks. The unit was roomy, and clean. The TV was tiny and high up in the wall. No air con. So it was stuffy with the windows shut to keep out the noise. Not a very restful night.

Stayed here one night on business recently. Nothing to get too excited about but it was very clean and comfortable and they put me in one of the units away from the road just as asked. Good parking and whilst a bit of a walk to the Main Street restaurants, a perfectly good experience. I will stay again. Thanks.

The motel is clean and comfortable. The service, though was excellent. The owners were friendly, helpful and really welcoming. There was free paytv and wifi as well. The kitchen is well stocked. There's an oven as well as a microwave if you want to totally self cater, with a large grocery store within walking distance. A few restaurants closeby as... More
