My husband and I chose Kings for our wedding reception. From the moment we first visited and met with Danielle and Stu we knew it was the right location for us. They were professional and easy to deal with, accommodating to our requests and went out of their way to make it a very special day for us. The food...

I visited this place with my wife and stayed over for 3 nights . Not only the stay was pleasant but the food was great as well. Since we travelled through scenic rails the owner was kind enough to give us a lift to a water fall close by. Would highly recommend you visiting this hotel is you are planning...

Stayed here at the weekend sharing a room with my boyfriend. We had a great time as we were skiing and visiting the town . The rooms are basic but cosy and very warm , only downside is the noise of the bathroom fan was a bit mad . But other than that no other complaints we ate in the...

Two mates from out of town, grabbed a drink and a meal and found the food to be excellent, cut the steak with my fork but praise goes to Lawrence the waiter, what a star, great service, I'm sure there were others helping but he seemed like the only one. Definitely be back.

We were a family of four (2 x Adults and 2 x Kids) who shared a cozy room with a queen size bed and bunk beds and en-suite with own shower and toilet (although small, was a welcome addition). We had a lovely stay, the room was nice and warm with a wall heater... Would have been good to have...

Look, this isn't a 5 star spot; it's very basic, but they really make an effort to give you excellent service. We booked here at very late notice as our accommodation on the mountain was inaccessible due to snow and road closure. The chap we spoke to was extremely accommodating, gave us a reduced rate and made sure the room...

Had a great time here. From the log cabin decor to the cowboy boots decorating the bar you know straight away this place will be fun. Look it is simple enough pub food but with some variety for the discerning. I scrunched into a blue cheese steak burger that was a nitro circus cuisine experience. The 'road kill' dish was...

We last went to Kings a few years back and to be honest thought it was a bit of a dive. An article in the local Ohakune paper about new management lead us to give it another try. What a vast improvement! The food is hearty and tasty, the atmosphere is friendly and warm. The staff were a little distracted...

The drinks are well priced and depending what time of day you choose to visit, will deter main on the noise factor, we came early evening on...
