Alan and Susy were great hosts, interested in their guests. They prepared a great breakfast (also very early in the morning on the day we walked the Tangariro Crossing), and a tasteful lunch package. After the walk we enjoyed a glass of wine, chatting with Alan and Susy. A relaxing place to stay! Free Wifi, little fridge in the room....

We stayed one night at this lovely B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the Ohakune area. The room was immaculate and breakfast excellent. Hosts are a lovely couple keen to promote the area to visitors and full of useful information. Even gave us a discount voucher for a local restaurant - not a commercial...

This is a high-end B & B. The room and ensuite are modern, super-clean and luxurious. Alan and Susie have a hospitality and travel background so have taken the time to find out about and try the local attractions and things to do. They gave great recommendations for walks and eating out. Alan and Susie are professional in their approach...

Susie and Alan were perfect hosts for our 4 night stay. We had only planned 2 nights but ended up staying longer so we could do the Tongariro crossing. The reason we loved Manuka Lodge so much is due to the great hospitality, lovely room, fantastic breakfast and the hot tub. It's a great place to kick back and relax...

The room we had was spacious and clean with excellent toiletries in the large ensuite. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and just what we needed before heading up the...

Susie and Alan give you a wonderful welcome and make you feel right at home. Breakfast is served at a communal table just off the kitchen and sets you up for the days activities - in our case the Tongarrio Crossing (which we found out later they will drop you off and pick you up from as well) The B&B...

Thanks for the lovely words of appreciation. Great to hear you noticed the insulation, that, the double glazing and the central heating were non-negotiable on the build list. It makes such a difference.

We stayed 5 nights and it was fabulous, very high quality in all regards and extremely comfortable. Suzie and Alan are knowledgeable about the local area, which is great for walking, cycling, skiing and sightseeing. We'll definitely stay here again!

We caught a bus to Ohakune, which unfortunately was half an hour late. However, as soon as we stepped off the bus we were warmly greeted by Alan and Susie on a very cold day, which was extremely refreshing. As soon as we stepped into the lodge we immediately were amazed by how home-like and cozy the lodge was, and...
