We stayed for 2 nights at the Manuka Lodge at the end of December 2016. It was our first time in a B&B and we were very surprised that every detail had been thought of to ensure a comfortable stay. The owners were a delight (Alan and Suzie) and very helpful with recommendations for the Alpine Crossing and restaurants. As...

We had a wonderful stay at the Manuka Lodge. The house is very nice and modern, and our bedroom was newly renovated, the bed was comfy. Susie and Alan are very friendly and helpful, we very much enjoyed our days there.

Suzy and Alan have built a very beautiful house, in a quiet area although at walking distance from town. Luxury rooms and guest lounge and gorgeous breakfast. We have been well informed of where to go in town as well as were to hike in Tangariro National Park. The place to be !

Extremely accomodating and lovely hosts. Very warm, clean and only a few minutes walk from town so perfect location. Delicious breakfast including a cooked option and the option of an outdoor spa after a skiing was an added bonus! Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Comfortable, clean room in a modern property within easy walking distance of the amenities. Large sitting room for guest's use. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, with local knowledge that they were more than willing to share. They also made an excellent breakfast.

Alan and Susy were great hosts, interested in their guests. They prepared a great breakfast (also very early in the morning on the day we walked the Tangariro Crossing), and a tasteful lunch package. After the walk we enjoyed a glass of wine, chatting with Alan and Susy. A relaxing place to stay! Free Wifi, little fridge in the room....

We stayed one night at this lovely B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the Ohakune area. The room was immaculate and breakfast excellent. Hosts are a lovely couple keen to promote the area to visitors and full of useful information. Even gave us a discount voucher for a local restaurant - not a commercial...

This is a high-end B & B. The room and ensuite are modern, super-clean and luxurious. Alan and Susie have a hospitality and travel background so have taken the time to find out about and try the local attractions and things to do. They gave great recommendations for walks and eating out. Alan and Susie are professional in their approach...
