We arrived by Yacht expecting a good mooring but was moored up outside the little harbour which was OK but if the weather conditions had been different it could have been an uncomfortable night. Apparently, Ogan has been trying to improve the mooring facilities but the local council seems to be dead set against it. However, our welcome couldn't have...

I have traveled in Turkey many many times since I first came in August 1961. Oguns Place was recommended to me by a longstanding Turkish friend. I have stayed in the finest hotels in Istanbul and Izmir and over the years I have learned that a good hotel experience is something you bring with you. Generally the bad attitudes and...

We returned purposely to this bay because we had a wonderful experience at Ortam Restaurant in the bay. Ortam was closed as it was early season so we went to Oguns Place. We gave them 60tl to do 10kg (double what we normally pay to do the same amount using a tumble dryer). When it came back it was very...

Oguns Place was a great break from sailing. Oguns and his staff are warm and friendly and want to make sure your visit is wonderful. The food was very good. Showers were clean and had plenty of hot water.

I had both lunch and dinner at Ogun's Place in early September 2015. All of the staff was great. I wish I could remember the name of our particular waiter because he was so funny (I think he was new this year?), he kept us laughing, and made great recommendations for food. Their pide (Turkish pizza) was excellent - best...

This is the fifth time i am visiting. Service was always bad. But this time far more they were rude. They forgot my coffe. When i reminded that they always forget, they said they are out of coffe and there is no personel for brewing a coffe as if like teaching me lesson.

We recently visited with a flotilla, we had a lovely evening meal and breakfast the next morning. Covered by Mulberry trees, you get to eat the fruit as it drops off the trees. Lovely swimming and good shower facilities. When we return we will definitely eat here again.

We chose Ogun's place because they claimed to be the oldest and a well-known accommodation in Hayitbuku, what a mistake! The rooms were dirty and in very bad condition. just outside our room there was the water tank which was full and floating, right next to the power supply which was laying open on the ground! The old matrasses in...
