This place deserves no less than a 5-stars rating. We've booked a Private Chalet for 3 nights and I would highly recommend that to anyone looking for a romantic couple's getaway with a budgeted price. And it's even better than what it said on the internet. The House sits on the highest spot in Eco Palms House( on the roof of their biggest house), of course, we have the purest air as well as the best view in the lodge. The view overlooking the mountain is amazing, we woke up one day to see not the paper work but the beautiful edge of Mother Nature. The cloud rolling around the peak of the mountain and the buffalo strolling on the field, and grazing grass. The restaurant is amazing as well, it's the food..oh my, totally authentic and so good, we never even thought about going anywhere else. Lastly, but not the least is the kind and thoughtful staff, it is a family run and owned and you can tell from the thoughtful suggestions of activities(trekking, chilling, market place), to the care of setting up transport, tutoring about the tour, prepare the Ginger Dinger( I love that). Deserved the best value for reasonable price!!

"Heaven on Earth" is the only way to describe this gem in the Sapa mountains. I had the most memorable stay at Eco Palms House. Attentive hosts Hien and Khanh's hospitality industry background sets them apart from any competition as they cater for their guests' every need with the utmost care and attention to detail. From the moment I arrived I felt at home. They have a genuine passion to delight their guests and no request is too large.
The layout of the property is exceptional in that every room not only offers a breathtaking panoramic view, but privacy also. I was fortunate enough to experience a deluxe bungalow as well as a suite and both rooms offer equal comfort and luxury in their soft beds with mosquito nets, comfy bean bags to relax on, ample (easily accessible) power outlets and super soft towels. The cleanliness and quality of amenities are world class.
The food was exceptional, I recommend everyone try the spring rolls and the Eco Sunset!
My expectations were exceeded. It is not every day you find a property offering 5 stars across the board; the location, comfort, service, food & beverage as well as value for money!
Warning: once you arrive, you won't want to leave.

From the moment we arrived, we were received by a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere and an extremely warm and attentive team, which lasted until the very last moment! We loved everything about this place…the food was exquisite and very reasonably priced, the rooms made us feel as integrated with nature while being extremely comfortable, clean, and very beautifully decorated with local craft. And the view is absolutely breathtaking over rice fields and mountains. The BEST place to be in Sa Pa!

I volunteered at Eco Palms for two weeks in December where I spent my time teaching English and drinking lots of delicious cinnamon tea. Some highlights of my stay were taking a luxurious bath in the Thai House, one of their romantic suite bungalows, and doing yoga in the morning looking out at the beautiful rice paddies. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my trip and honestly, I could write a whole short essay about why this is the place you should go to on your next trip. Eco Palms is perfect for a peacefully quiet and absolutely stunning vacation. The location exactly resembles a postcard or photo advertisement in the airport for Vietnam. Beyond the amazing nature views, the amenities are incredible: the bungalows are both luxurious and cozy, the food is delicious, and Eco Palms offers a variety of activities (trekking with local guides, spa, and cooking classes) but what really makes Eco Palms special is their staff. The owners, Hien and Kahn, are absolute sweet hearts and run the business as a family and the staff was quick to welcome me as if I were part of that family, even though there was quite a language barrier. Everyone there are just really kind, special people and I miss them already!

My partner and I travelled here to celebrate her birthday, and it was a great decision!
The view overlooking a valley is amazing, we woke up one day to see water buffalo walking through a field from our bedroom windows.
The beds are soft and comfortable and staff set up a mosquito net around the bed each night.
The people who run the Eco Palms are incredibly thoughtful and sweet, they really put a lot of thought into making our trip special because we were celebrating a birthday there.
The restaurant is amazing as well. We ate in town and at the Eco Palms several times, and the meals we had at the Eco Palms was always better. We especially loved their crispy pork belly and leaf-wrapped salmon.
Additionally, I've often had experiences in Vietnam where hotels had been stingy with drinking water, providing only a few bottles a day, but the Eco Palms kept a large jug in our room full all the time, refilling it many times a day.
I would absolutely recommend the Eco Palms for someone who wants a relaxing getaway in a beautiful environment. It is about a 15 minute drive outside of Sapa town, so just keep in mind that you will have to plan ahead booking a taxi if you have a strict schedule to keep.
I had an amazing experience!

Amazing experience throughout. We stayed in the Deluxe Cottage for two nights and it was really a serene experience. The view outside our room was majestic with the mountain range. The toilet has a large bathtub and hot water was perfect as we stayed during the beginning of winter.

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. In the common area, where it's also where we dine, they will sit with you and chat if you are keen on engaging with them and everything feels very homely and family like.

The food here is so well prepared and everything feels really fresh as well. In speaking with the owner, she mentioned that the food is all organic.
Try the Hot Pot Mix if you can. And also for breakfast, do get the Vietnamese Pho. They are delicious. There is a wide range of options and you do get international options as well.

If you are an animal lover, there are many cats and dogs to constantly keep you company during your stay.

All in all, the stay at Eco Palms House has been very calming and peaceful. There a serene energy around here from the staff as well which makes this a perfect stay.

One thing to note, please ask Ivan, one of the staff here to arrange your transfer to and fro eco palms house as it can be difficult to get here by yourself via taxi. Just make it an easy time for yourself by asking lvan to arrange transportation.

I stayed at Eco Palms after doing a trek in the Sapa hills. It was stunning. The views out to the mountains and over the bright green rice paddies are amazing. I loved sitting in the infinity pool and gazing at the incredible view. It is a romantic sort of place. The rooms are simple, traditional and beautiful and reminded me of Bali. The mattress was comfortable. I had a room up the top with a fantastic view. The bath was really good too, especially after my trekking. I’m vegetarian and there wasn’t much to choose from on the menu, but the owners asked the cook to make something vegetarian for me. There is filtered water available to refill your water bottle. The owners are friendly and welcoming. There is a nice vibe to Eco Palms along with the wonderful views and I only wished I could have stayed more than one night.

I stayed there because it was highly recommended as a cost-effective accommodation in Sapa where you can enjoy the scenery.

The friendly staff and clean, nature-friendly accommodations that welcomed me from the beginning helped relieve my tired mind and body from the arduous schedule in Vietnam.

I thought I really came to Vietnam to visit this accommodation.

The accommodation had a great view and the bed was comfortable, so I was able to sleep comfortably with a mosquito net at night. The warm water came out well, and the water quality was very clean compared to Hanoi. (I stayed for two days and the filter was almost like new.

The food was also good because the anti-aging ingredients typical of Vietnam were not too strong. Overall, it was delicious.

The swimming pool was provided with separate towels and the depth of the water was about 2m, so it was comfortable and nice.

Overall, it was a great place to take pictures.

However, if I had to point out a drawback, the only locking device in the accommodation was a padlock and a wooden stick, and there were a lot of flying insects in the swimming pool.

However, there was nothing to worry about as the staff were always there and most of the tourists were Korean, and the swimming pool was in the countryside and there were only trees around so I could take it into account.

The cost of the food was about 100,000 won extra as I ate lunch and dinner twice. The recommended food is delicious, but <No. 24 Grilled Pork and Steamed Rice> really tastes like stir-fried pork served in an earthen pot. If you want Korean food, I highly recommend this. Mix the rice and enjoy it

I had such a great trip. I think I'll come to Vietnam after seeing just this place. The best accommodation!!!

Lastly, the suitcase I bought in Hanoi broke, but the owner tied it up with string and tape and was very kind and grateful.

We were a group of 5 walking wanderers from Singapore. This was our first visit to Lao Cai and SaPa.

Eco Palms House together with its bungalows has a commanding position with un interrupted views. It is away from the hustle & bustle of SaPa town yet a short taxi ride from it.
A special feature in the bungalows are the special wooden bath tub.

It is set amoungst the beautiful rice paddies surrounded by stunningly gorgeous gardens, choicefull plant and flower arrangements, with sweeping vistas of the Muong Hao Valley. The setting was magical peaceful and absolutely charming. It’s a perfect place for morning yoga & meditation too.

The bungalows are all surrounded by lovely giant sized orange moon drop flowers outside the cabins.

The host Ivan and his talented and artistic wife were a great team. Both took time and personal effort to look after us very well indeed.

The staff were responsive, very pleasant and engaging indeed making our stay memorable and very enjoyable indeed.

The food was great with a nice selection of local cuisine. Decent vegetarian options too on the menus - or cook willing to russel a tasty dish up! The log fire was welcoming during the chill of the evening. We enjoyed a local night cap on several evenings.

The bungalows were well appointed, very authentic and rustic utilizing local building materials. They were comfortable. Only one remark about the flooring which requires the use of slippers rather than bare feet due to uneven surfaces.

We all would thoroughly recommend staying there and will be back!

As soon as we arrived at Ecopalms we felt welcomed and could instantly relax. The family are extremely friendly and went out of there way to make sure we felt comfortable. We spent the first day enjoying the spectacular sights we could view from our balcony, and eating the delicious food offered by the kitchen. I especially recommend having the bbq experience, in which the chef cooks for you in front of the background of beautiful mountains. On the second day we took a guided tour of the local village arranged by the home stay. We walked through lushious green rice paddies, and learnt a lot about the local tribes there.

All in all my experience here was unforgettable and one I definitely would recommend to others!
