KK Sapa Hotel is celebrated for its generously sized and immaculate rooms, boasting breathtaking mountain vistas, although guests have called out occasional air conditioning issues and insect encounters. The establishment is lauded for providing excellent value and amenities that include a diverse breakfast selection, and top-notch spa and gym facilities, all at a wallet-friendly cost. The staff's warm and attentive service enhances the serene and picturesque atmosphere of the hotel. My sister stayed and recommended me kk sapa hotel as the view from the hotel is amazing. It is an amazing hotel with a team of highly professional and very friendly, attentive staff, especially the doorman who will always have a warm smile on their face. The receptionist is very helpful and accommodating. Also, the laundry service was quick and my clothes smelled so fresh after the wash. The managers also would go around to ask you about your stay here, which was very nice.

The hotel is well located, it is modern and tastefully designed. The place is very tranquil, with amazing surrounding views. Breakfast are fantastic with many selections. Rooms are clean & comfortable. We stayed in their premium mountain view room. The hot water is also working, though my sister said her side of the hotel doesn’t have hot water. In addition, since they are only a three month old hotel, I give them the benefit of the doubt when our hot water turn brownish. It might not be the hotel’s fault too.

No matter, it is still a 5-star experience with many perks and I will not forget the beautiful room, the view from the room and warm and kind treatment from the staff in the hotel. Thank you so much for the amazing stay. I most definitely will recommend my friends who are traveling to sapa to stay in kk sapa hotel.

Hotel is situated on one of the main roads of Sapa city. Very convenient location overall. The hotel itself has everything you need. What I want to admit is the perfect service and really helpfull staff. The room is very nice and specious too, very suatabke if you travel with kids as a whole family as you can get the really big family room with 2 separate bedrooms and a hall. Food in a restaurant is quite tasty. Breakfast is cinvenient and enough. What us more the ratio of price you pay and what you receive is very good!

The hotel is a good option and good value in Sapa and is one to have some of the international standards, just don’t expect the 5* service.

For beginners, the hotel itself is quite nice, has modern with local characters design, uses high quality building and bathroom materials, and is clean. We got two deluxe view rooms which were decent size, well equipped and functional. Bathrooms were a little small but it worked. Beds were comfy.

Location is about 10 minutes walk from center and easy access with cars. The hotel offers free parking in its own garage, which was nice.

Breakfast was ok with good options. However it got really crowded in the morning and got quite noisy and a bit chaotic. Nothing sort of unexpected at a hotel catering to and full or Vietnamese travelers though.

The spa was surprisingly nice and affordable. Our family tried the Dao people’s herbal bath and we were set up to take it in their spa treatment rooms which was nice, clean and private. This definitely beats the options on the streets of Sa Pa which looks quite scary.

Service was definitely not 5* and barely got the job done. For example, the hotel’s entrance area was very small and got packed with cars with no direction, coordination or help from hotel staff. I had to run to find the bellboys when we arrived and we got no help with our luggage. Even with the bellboy, he was quite clueless and we ended up just helping ourselves with the luggage and be as quick as we could to get out of the chao. Breakfast dishes were also not cleared out quick enough. When we mentioned these at checkout, the hotel was quite understanding and welcomed the feedback. We also definitely did not feel that anyone went above and beyond to serve guests. Staff looked tired and uninterested most of the time to be honest.

Again, we could overlook the relatively bad service given that the hotel is in one of the most remote parts of Vietnam and it’ priced much lower than true international 5* options. We got what we paid for and was happy when we left. I hope the hotel and Sapa overall can improve on service.

Pros- amazing view from room (if you pay more for balcony with mountain view)

Cons- very very loud at night, we were unable to sleep due to a nightclub being directly below the hotel and also loud construction nearby starting very early (it is not the quiet mountain escape we hoped for)

Air con did not work during entire stay. Was very humid, and I was unwell so needed it to work. I called reception and he was rude and dismissive laughing at me and saying “just turn it off” staff were not professional at all

The room did not look clean, there was children’s colouring and drawing all over the walls and the menus and information was all sticky

The hotel although newly decorated seems old and tired

Staff were not friendly or warm they did not smile at all or ask anything about your stay or help you with plans

Breakfast was average, baked goods were dry and obviously not freshly made (which I would expect for the price per night!)

Hotel lacked ambience and had a bad vibe. one time we went to have a drink in the bar and there was nobody there (no staff) so we just left again

Would definitely not stay here again and would not recommend at all

Very very overpriced! Stay somewhere else
We wish we didn’t waste our money here

KK Sapa is the best hotel to stay in Sapa which offers excellent location, view, service and meals for guests. Impressive staffs while checking-in & out. Breakfast was good and should also check out on the swimming pool & jacuzzi available at the hotel. The hotel is located just a 5-minute walk away from the Sapa town center, which can be easily accessible from the 15th floor at the back of the hotel. The view from the hotel was very nice. It’s definitely worth the value to stay here.

The hotel is located in a great spot with excellent views of the surrounding hills and rice fields when the fog isn't hiding the view! But, I cannot hold the weather against the hotel. We happened to be there when not only this hotel, but apparently all of the hotels in Sapa were 100 percent full (the weekend after New Year). So, we were anticipating the hotel being overwhelmed and unable to cope. That was not correct at all. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Plus, the free ginger/lemongrass tea at reception was a huge bonus.

The hotel has underground, covered parking which is not all that common in Sapa and was very great for us since we drove ourselves. The room was large and comfortable with great amenities. The bathroom was modern and had great water pressure and hot water. The beds were comfortable and had nice, heavy bedding which really helps me sleep. The balcony offered great views of the surrounding countryside and are a real highlight.

The breakfast was really great with plenty of western and Vietnamese options. There were plenty of hot options too. We didn't eat any other meals in the hotel.

The gym was very good with modern equipment and the heated pool was a nice touch. The hot tub/jet tub was broken when we arrived which was annoying because that was a key draw of the hotel...and the staff hadn't told us it was broken even though we'd asked about it. Alas.

We found this 5* hotel rated on Agoda and it was not one of the two a friend had recommended, but decided to give it a try since it had a significant reduced sale. It was well worth the money, especially since we got upgraded to a suite. The service was excellent from check-in to check-out. We had an evening meal in the hotel and tried out the spa service. We found all to be excellent. Not everyone spoke English, but many tried and all made us feel welcome. The breakfast had many choices, even for vegetarians ( a vegan might have had difficulties with the normal buffet), but they had a nice salad and fruit each morning as well as other standard western & Asian choices. While there is always room for improvement, this is definitely a hotel we would return to. It was wonderful that they had two lobbies - 1st floor and 15th floor. This made it extremely convenient for walking, catching a car, or parking a motorbike.

The rooms were nothing short of spectacular. I highly recommend choosing the double room with the valley view, the view in the morning left us speechless upon our check-in.
Dining at the hotel's restaurants was an absolute delight. We spent 2 lunches in the Restaurant on the 1st floor and breakfast meals on the 2nd. Everything was perfect. Breakfast though may not be spacious but the food was delicious. Prices in the restaurant are quite cheap compared to other 4-5 stars hotels.
The location is very convenient, close to the main quarter and the Sun Plaza to use the cable car.
What impresses me the most is the professional attitude of the FO staff, Ms Linh, and HK staff. We could not thank you more.
Due to limited time in Sapa, we could not use the full service of the hotel ( pool, gym, or spa) to fully review. But during this time, each room upon check-in will be given a spa voucher, use them if possible.
This will absolutely be a place to return to whenever i have an opportunities to visit Sapa.

We had a pleasant 2-night stay at KK Sapa Hotel, Sapa, from 12th to 14th October 2024, during our family vacation in Vietnam. The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the town's main attractions.

Location: (9/10)
The hotel is perfectly situated in Sapa, Lao Cai. Its unique position, with the backside perched on a cliff and the 15th-floor opening onto the street, offers a stunning valley view from the front, creating an incredibly serene and picturesque atmosphere. It's within walking distance of popular spots like Moana Café, Sapa train station, the cathedral, and the night market, making it convenient for sightseeing.

Ambiance: (9/10)
The hotel’s ambiance is just as impressive as its location. Whether inside or outside, the atmosphere is tranquil and welcoming, perfectly complementing the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Reception: (8/10)
The reception staff was warm and courteous, making check-in smooth and stress-free. Special thanks to Mr. William, who was particularly soft-spoken, helpful, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

Rooms: (9/10)
We stayed in a Deluxe room with a stunning balcony view of the valley. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and clean, with thoughtful space management. The bathroom was also spacious, spotless, and equipped with a bath, adding a touch of luxury.

Amenities: (8/10)
The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a well-maintained pool table (free of charge), a swimming pool, a rose garden, and a gym. These added to the relaxation and enjoyment of our stay.

Dining: (9/10)
There are multiple dining options at the hotel. We had lunch at Ta Fin restaurant, which served delicious food with generous portions. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring a wide variety of cuisines that catered to diverse tastes. The coffee bar is also worth mentioning for its excellent coffee and reasonably priced drinks.

Staff: (8/10)
Throughout our stay, the hotel staff was polite, attentive, and always ready to assist. Their helpful nature enhanced the overall experience.

Value for Money: (9/10)
The hotel offers excellent value considering its prime location, serene ambiance, spacious rooms, courteous staff, and diverse breakfast spread. We were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the valley while being close to the town center.

Disappointments:
Honestly, none that we can remember! Our stay was smooth and enjoyable.

We booked the family room. Upon arrival, we were told that we had to pay an extra 150USD for our six year old son to sleep in the room. I did not add him to the booking because he was going to just sleep in our bed. I often do not add him. This is the first hotel in SE Asia (and I've stayed in dozens) that not only seemed to care, but actually charged (and not a small amount). While not thrilled with this initial greeting, I understood that it was policy and paid the amount.

We then had to wait around for our room to be ready (because we took an early shuttle to Sapa). Our room was not ready on time. It was not drastically late (30 minutes), but if you will hold your customers to the expectations outlined in your fine writing, you should also hold yourself accountable to the same expectations. Also, after waiting around for a couple of hours for check-in time, those extra 30 minutes seemed really long.

When we arrived in our room, it was "set up" for four people and not five (like we had just paid the extra $150 for). There were not five towels, five waters, five tea saucers, etc....so what was the extra fee for? In addition, we found a used ear cotton swab on the carpet in the living room. This was disgusting.

The other negatives included...1. our shower drain was clogged so we had to take five minute showers or the room would flood. They tried to fix it, but it did not fix. 2. The jacuzzi was out of service which would have been nice on the cold January days. 3. The view from our room was disappointing (a wall).

Despite all these negatives, we did enjoy our stay for the most part and there were certainly some positives. The breakfast buffet was perhaps the best we've had in SE Asia. The family room had a nice set up and besides the cotton swab, the rooms were clean. We also loved some restaurants nearby.
